Rainbow Kids Learning Center - Our "Outdoor Classroom" playground!

Rainbow Kids Learning Center

My two children have been going to Rainbow Kids since we moved to the area in 2014 and we love it…read morethere. The director, Jess, is welcoming and helpful, and the teachers are all caring and kind. My husband and I looked at several home daycares but ultimately felt most comfortable in this safe and caring center. My daughter had a terrific experience as a 4-5 year old. The Pre-K teachers were especially wonderful, caring and creative. They have an age appropriate curriculum with daily activities and learning that kept the kids engaged and having fun. She really was able to learn and practice her letters, numbers and writing in the classroom too. There's lots of different play in the classroom, from dramatic play to the blocks to the reading area and more. I always feel that the kids are well supervised and safe. Another thing we love about Rainbow Kids is that they definitely work with you to meet your child's needs. My son was 1 year old when he began going to daycare there, and he had a rough transition leaving my side. Jess and the infant teachers were so caring and understanding and really helped us through this time, offering tips and solutions to try. My son and I were able to come and visit for as much time as we wanted, getting him used to the environment and the new faces. Once he began staying on his own, they didn't bat an eye as I stayed as long as I wanted at drop off, as this seemed to help him. When I wasn't there, they paid attention to his needs and responded on an individual basis (for instance, initially he was bothered when people went in/out of the room, so they took care to be holding him or explaining to him what was happening to help feel secure). They provided loving and consistent care to him and I felt good that he was with people who cared for him. Now that he is a little older and out of this transitional phase, he loves going to school, loves his teachers and talks frequently about them and his classmates when he's at home. I like that all the teachers at the center get to know you and your child, since it is a small center. I love that the kids go outside for play twice a day, and that Rainbow Kids has a nice big, fenced playground that's sectioned off for the different ages. There's lots of play equipment and the area around them is surrounded by nature, as they are set far back from the road, which is also nice. I would definitely recommend Rainbow Kids for families look for a safe and happy environment where kids are taken care of on an individual basis.

Rehoboth school! A Truly Loving and Supportive Community…read more Twin Oaks Farm Learning Center has been an incredible part of our family's life. It's far more than a daycare it's a caring, intentional early learning community where children are genuinely nurtured and supported. The director leads with love, professionalism, and a deep commitment to putting children first, and it shows in every part of the program. My daughter has been at Twin Oaks since she was six months old, and now at three, she still looks forward to going every day. Her social skills, confidence, and early learning abilities are noticeably strong for her age, and I truly credit the nurturing environment and thoughtful curriculum here. The school has gone through staffing changes, but those changes have brought so much positive growth. The current teachers are dedicated, professional, and genuinely love the kids. The atmosphere is calmer, more consistent, and more joyful than ever. I especially want to highlight the current preschool teacher she is phenomenal. Her warmth, creativity, and professionalism give me so much peace knowing my daughter is in her classroom. Twin Oaks is a place where children feel safe, supported, and excited to learn. The director and staff create a welcoming environment for families, and it truly feels like a community. I wouldn't put much weight on negative reviews they often leave out important context and don't reflect the real experience

I was continuously impressed with the teachers and their ability to provide individual attention to the children. Our daughter went to Twin Oaks from 3 months to 2.5 years - I wish we could have kept here there but we moved out of state. Within the last few years Twin Oaks got a new director, Ana. Ana is knowledgeable, kind, and works extremely hard to ensure the children have the best environment and experience possible. I highly recommend Twin Oaks Farm Learning Center.
