We were pleased with the small class sizes and attention our children received here. My children had so many great experiences at this school from karate classes, yoga, nature walks on the Wheaton College campus, trips to the orchard, visits to the art gallery. Just to name a few. We sent our child here for 2 years and were thoroughly disappointed. It's a $40k year public school. Here's a breakdown of the pros and cons: Pros: -slightly more advance curriculum than an ordinary public school but in-line with any other private school Cons: -embarrassingly underfunded, they ask you to bring your own supplies (including disinfecting wipes) at the beginning of the year -location, it's in Foxboro which only makes sense if you live in Foxboro -staff completely lacks diversity -after care programs are a joke, the photography club involved almost exclusively drawing pictures -also, they accept anyone who applies. There are several smart kids at the school but anyone average will make the cut. -the Head of School, simply put, there is something wrong with this woman. I included pics of the daily progress paper your staff handed out at the end of the day to ensure you that we went to this glorified daycare. It's too bad the school has such a high turn over that they don't know who attends the school and perhaps they all pretend to not remember people. But they will sure kept our money and deposit without a problem when we refused to send our child back the following semester after paying in full. At the end of the day HOMS gets visits from other Montessori people because it is not up to par with the rest of their programs the state has to offer.
