But sometimes the new people who occasionally come in to take over a production are not very professional, and unfortunately the quality of the production suffers, which I have seen on several occasions. Most of their client are over the age of 60, so if you are going to start seeing shows there, don't expect anything too contemporary or unusual. The theater itself is comfortable and newly refurbished with new seats and paint, and the stage is a decent size. I have had a lot of fun times at The Stage. Some of the more fun shows are in their Children's Theater, which always bring in tons of kids. I would recommend it more for families to come see the children's theater than some of the mainstage productions!

Well kept and super clean as are the restrooms. Acousticly friendly and nicer than many other college theaters in the area. They have various musical and stage acts that take place all year round. The seating is really comfortable. I have been a Benanti fan for years and the idea of seeing her live again was truly a treat. She was accompanied by the South Shore Symphony Orchestra and The Malloy College CAP-21 chorus for some numbers. The sound in the theatre was wonderful. The lighting was great. The show was amazing... Not only is Laura an AMAZING singer but she has an extraordinary persona and tells many stories of her journey. The theatre personnel are friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, people don't dance here either, but they do smoke hookah. I don't, but it didnt bother me because we were outside. What an awesome place to host the talent from my daughter's Grace Music School show to track the…read morestudents progress during their music lessons sessions. Comfortable seating and incredible acoustics made for an enjoyable passage of time to witness the progress made so far this year. Plenty of parking all around the building made getting here a snap and the staff on hand was very helpful and the facility was squeaky clean. An ideal venue to watch a performance that holds probably 300-400 people. I hope to return soon to enjoy this space and to watch another equally worthwhile performance.
