The programs assist all the students in exploring and honing their musical abilities --and beyond that, young musicians are able to form meaningful alliances with their bandmates and their instructors. Kids have shared with me that they had been anxious to perform until they were supported and encouraged by their teachers. At School of Rock, these students built the confidence to take the leap to performance!! It is so exciting to see the growth and camaraderie at the seasonal shows! I see it in all the kids!!
