The place looks "rough." The place is small. It's located in a building adjacent to a convenience store. You'll probably have to wait unless you get there early. You eat with plastic utensils on styrofoam plates. So, why did I give it four stars? Because it is probably the best catfish I've ever had. Here's the kicker ... these aren't your run of the mill farm raised catfish. These are wild caught right there in Lake Blackshear! If you need to be convinced, the owner showed me pictures of the catch I had just eaten. Really good sweet slaw. Excellent cheese grits. A unique experience. Worth the wait and worth the drive as a destination restaurant. If you're a catfish aficionado and you don't mind it being "a little rough around the edges," then this is for you. There is definitely a difference between "farm raised" and "wild caught!" read more
