Hands down the worst disposal company i have ever used, they will destroy your property, leave trash everywhere and then when you call the office about damage the driver has done to your property they will flake you off like a piece of shit. Patriot raised their price of disposal 25% last year and this past week we recieved another notice saying they were going to raise it another 25% this year. I called rambone and got the same size dumpster for litterally 40% of what patriot charges and the drivers for rambone actually get out of the truck if there is an extra barrel or bag of trash next to the dumpster and wont charge you extra. read more

At my 8 Unit apartment building at 1621 Smith Street in North Providence, Patriot Disposal has routinely failed to pick up garbage as scheduled during the last year. Over the last 10 weeks, things have gone from bad to worse as they have only picked up the garbage twice. ( 2 times out of 10 ) Though they still charge for weekly pick up. Multiple calls to their customer service representatives have made no difference. This business is badly managed. read more

Absolutely the worst! Phoned them several times with no contact from them. They do not return phone calls or pick up trash on their designated days for trash pick up service. The name that they portray makes me physically sick to my stomach as I am a patriot myself and a heart patient that has a hard time walking and pulling heavy objects. We called them on a Thursday morning, asking for a Friday pickup, which we were told was no problem. We needed the dumpster gone because we were getting a POD delivered on Saturday. So Friday they never came, and the dumpster was still in our driveway when the POD came on Saturday, so we couldn't have that delivered. Additionally, we have to pay PODS a $64.15 cancellation fee and have them come back next Saturday. A waste of a week when we're in need of a storage unit. We called patriot again twice Saturday morning pleading with them to get here, and the stupid dumpster is still in our driveway... Not to mention we have an additional $5 on our bill because they were too lazy to come and get the dumpster when they should have. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THAT YOU GO ELSEWHERE for your dumpsters. Hell, I don't know about the competition, but I already recommend any company over thisp one. Update: Patriot says pickup is not guaranteed for when you want it, well that's great. They should have mentioned that beforehand. Also the woman on the phone shouldn't have said they would be able to get the dumpster when we needed it gone if that was the case. They refuse to reimburse us for the PODS fee. I really don't think they care about their customers. This business is trash, not just because they deal in dumpsters. read more

To the driver in Warwick this morning. It was me who called in your poor driving this morning to the supervisor. She said she was going to call in to the dispatcher about this. You made a right off Oakland Beach Avenue and cut across West Shore Road with no directional and no warning or regard for traffic. There is a middle land there for a reason to go into that lane while waiting for on-coming traffic to pass by or to wave you in. I had no time to do either before you went from one street and into another placing my life at risk and other motorist. It was my horn your heard. Perhaps you missed the safety meetings - now would be a good time to revisit Driver's Ed though. You are the lucky one that you did not hit me. Think of all the lives you would have ruined if this morning was a different circumstance. I don't want to hear excuses for negligent behavior. I am the trustee for a person of disability. They have raised their pricing numerous times in the past two years saying prices are going up at the landfill. I asked to see something from the landfill that proves their pricing went up again and fell upon deaf ears. I also asked them to supply return envelopes with their statements and they told me "we don't do that". Wow, what company wouldn't want to supply return envelopes in order to be paid on time. Not them obviously. For the first time I decided to read their reviews and was amazed at how many complaints people have, one after another. I only saw one good review and have to imagine it must be a friend of theirs. For the last 4 months (Until I could finally cancel this service July-2021) I was trying to get in contact with Patriot Disposal, and they did not answer any of my phone calls and when they do pick up it's a horrible customer service. My service representative was Joe, and he seems not to care to fix the issues they caused me. Even though, I tried to cancel their service (after more of 8 calls), they have a 90 days policy to cancel, so I cancelled within 120 days before. In addition, I sent out a letter in January 2021 stating my formal cancelation to be effective in May 2021. Not to mention that they supposed to come in every and other week to collect the trash but they decided to come whenever they felt like it and still were charging for the missed services. I attempted several time to get in contact with them and always mentioned that they will return my call and most of the times it never happened. I attempted to call again and they finally picked up, I explained my many issues and my cancelation and they seemed not to have it on file when I already gotten a confirmation number of the cancelation. To conclude with this horrible experience, I do not recommend this company to no one, it's a waste of time and money. read more

These guys are a joke. They cost my business about $2,000 when they started throwing out my merchandise that was sitting in unopened, sealed boxes on my property. Wasn't on the street. They decided to open the boxes, see the brand new contents inside, and then still proceed to throw into their truck. Luckily I caught them in the act, so I saved some merchandise. I called and emailed the company several times only to be told to screw off essentially, was never reimbursed or even apologized to. I can't comment on their service, but I can comment on their driving, and these folks are a menace on the roads. If you are driving a large truck, you should not only obey traffic laws (duh), but maybe also skip tailgating and other aggressive driving activities. The final straw was today when I called because they were two days late. I was told that they wouldn't come back out until next week AND I was expected to still pay for this week's service. No way! Had a 20 yd roll off dumpster delivered to remove construction debris from my home remodel. They forgot to call to let me know what time they would be dropping off so I was about to get in the shower to get ready for work when they showed up. The driver had a bit of an issue dropping off dumpster because they brought the large truck to deliver and it didn't quite fit in the street while try to back it in. The driver was very nice and did a great job with such a tight space. I had a check in hand when he dropped off the dumpster but I still received an invoice after my check was cashed. I called up and they assured me the invoice was a mistake. They picked up the dumpster on time and there was no issues left behind. The price was very competitive which is why I would consider using them again in the future. read more

They would automatically renew your contract for two years even though we said to cancel us after it expired. I just recently signed on for a year with them and I seriously REGRET IT. *** From the very first call starting the service I have encountered bad customer service. Every single time I call I get cut off so they can have my address. Good customer service would be waiting till I'm done explaining why I'm calling. Or ask for it first thing. ***Aside from that, one of the garbage trucks left a huge oil stain on the drive way and a trail leading to the street since I live on a shared driveway. So I called to see what they would do about it since I was having to hear the complaints from my landlady and her telling me I have to pay to have it cleaned up. So here we are two weeks later and they are STILL "waiting for the owner to be in. He's very busy and is in and out a lot." Ok so what happened to the 5 messages I've left and never received a call back on yet aside from the many times I've called and spoken to people. Not to mention last week I also let them know per my landlady my trash will be out on the very end of the driveway so no more oil stains can happen, and they never picked it up yesterday. So the lady on the phone told me they only go out my way once a week and that she could leave a message saying that it was missed and any extra trash will be out next to it. Ok I can kind of understand that but its still frustrating bc I still have to pay for this past week! Its like they could care less if they have your service or not and that you are just a huge pain in their ass. Even you even think of moving into another location, they will force you to abide by the contract and it will follow you. Even if that New Place you are moving to, does not want any containers. Called to complain and it was the worst customer service, their idea of fixing the situation was to transfer me to leave a message for the person in charge of safety. I had a broken windshield.
