This weekend we hosted a wedding in our backyard and needed a place to make guests feel comfortable & shelter them from whatever weather Michigan decided to throw at us. I'm gonna be real honest here, when we first agreed to host a wedding in our back yard during Covid, I was super nervous, and as time got closer that feeling only intensified. Chris & the staff at Party Dream went above & beyond to transform our back yard into what resembled an off site event if you ask me. A 20x30 tent with sides, including windows. A variety of tables, that they leveled out because of all the rain, clean comfortable white chairs. They arranged table clothes & runners that fit to the brides theme. They set up a dance floor, multiple speakers, a DJ mixing board that you could plug a phone into, fancy dance lights, LED lights inside the tent, matching lights that hung from tree to tree that you could change the color of via remote. They provided is an ice chilling table (I posted a picture of it) that kept ice cold for hours. Multiple bar tables & 8 foot tables to put food on, all of which had a black spandex cover making it look super sharp. They were even able to provide a stage for the bride & groom to stand on which they leveled out, and placed a decorated table behind for the bride & groom to place one of those unity sand/hour glass things on for the ceremony. After all was said & done the crew came over early the next to take down & remove everything except all the memories we will now have from the evening we had in our back yard. When Chris arrived he was a friend, by the time this shindig was over, he felt like family. A BIG Thank You to Chris & the crew at Party Dreams for helping us throw two kids in love a party they will never forget.

After multiple emails, the pricing kept changing, and every new quote added more questionable fees. They started with a reasonable number, then suddenly added inflated charges like excessive delivery fees, "basic labor," and extra handling fees that made the final total skyrocket. It felt very misleading and honestly like a bait-and-switch. I was not even booking a full event, just trying to rent a dance floor, and the final price was completely unreasonable for such a small request. They got back to me within a day or so of receiving my quote request. They had a great price and throughout the process they were great with communication. They also made it easy to pay the deposit and the balance by emailing me invoices, which I paid online. They handled all the communiation with my venue. I was happy with the quality of the chairs. Of course a few chairs had a knick/scratch in them, but these are rental chairs...you have to expect that. Seat cushions were comfortable. Jerry was super to work with, taking my multiple phone calls as the party grew in size and scope. 72 hours before our party, the weather looked questionable....and we didn't want to have gone to the lengths we did to have our party washed out. So, I called Jerry and asked to add a tent rental to our package. Sure thing, he said, no problem. And then offered to take off the delivery charge for the other items bc we had added the tent. (Every little bit helps, and he didn't have to offer.) Thursday morning, the truck was scheduled to arrive after 11 am. At 10, I decided I need 2 additional tablecloths. Again, no problem. The truck arrived as promised, and the guys got our tent up and tables delivered promptly and carefully---the linen tablecloths arrived already pressed and on hangers with plastic covers. Nice touch, much appreciated (who wants to be ironing the day of the party). Pick up was prompt as well. When you're planning a party, it's a job just to manage the details. No I would not recommend.
