Be warned, you are not going to get the cheapest pool in the world from these guys. They are old school and believe in selling a quality product at a very reasonable price. You're not paying Ferrari prices but you are definitely not getting an 86 Yugo either. Everything they provide is high-quality long-lasting and durable so you don't have to deal with breakdowns or other stupidity later in life. The equipment Farwell uses as "stock" or "base" is upper to top-end with other pool installers (then the other guys charge you a zinger for "premium tier products"!). Their price breakdowns are incredibly detailed and you know exactly what you're paying for. You can select a number of options basically a la carte to make your pool exactly what you want. They are incredibly flexible in the layout and other additions, and if you want something completely out of the box (like we did with our slide) they are very accommodating in including that in their installation process. The other part that was very refreshing was there were no hidden charges. You knew exactly what we were getting into before the first hole was dug. And the best part above all was they stuck to their guns on the prices with no whammies after the fact. From beginning to end they were done with the project in under three weeks. Now keep in mind our lot was very flat and didn't require much landscaping to make it work so things might be different if you have hilly land. The pics are before the landscaping has been done. In summary: if you want an awesome pool you can be proud of that will last you a long time with incredible service and attention to detail, and you understand that having such amazingness might cost you a little more than a bare bones POS that rots in 5 years go with Farwell pools!

I then asked him if he can do a railing with the understanding since it is not his expertise that I was buying the railing and the screws. This project was originally quoted over a phone call for $300 which he then tried to ask for more and I told him if he was not sticking to his word that he could take the railing project out and continue on with work on the chimney only. The remainder of the chimney (his expertise so materials like the first job should have been included in the job quote) was to be $500. He stated he would stick to his quote to complete the requested job (railing and chimney) for $850 the 50 extra for the concrete screws needed to complete the install of the railing. Once he completed the railing he requested to be paid $500 now $300 for the chimney. I agreed to this with the understanding that the chimney would then be knocked down to 300. He then back tracked multiple times trying to get more money for the chimney by sending materials costs to me (which any contractor should already have factored this into the quote and like was previously factored into the original quote). I then declined services after calling out the inconsistencies. He then proceeded to text me again to apologize for not sticking to his word and "being a good guy" would complete the project as originally stated. Which I then refused again. He proceeded to send a long message trying to justify all his actions and lack of sticking to his word. I would never hire this company again as they clearly are not professionals with quoting out jobs and blaming the consumer that they didn't do things properly.
