He told me, "I'll change it, but it doesn't make a difference". Not even a month later a get a call saying some discounts are falling off. It's because I'm NOT married and not a homeowner ! Monthly payment was almost doubled. I told that agent on the phone I couldn't afford it (she was absolutely wonderful and tried everything to get everything lowered!). I received a $445 collection notice in the mail! I called and talked to Arben, he told me not to worry about the collection notice. But he also gave me another 6mo quote. I decided I was going to finish the policy I already had and then go to amfam. So I texted him this to update what I decided. A few days later I get a text from the collection agency saying it was updated. So since I have nothing written, and only a verbal notice that I wanted to cancel the policy, I now have a $445 collection sitting there. Absolutely would not recommend!

The customer…read moreservice that I received from my agent, Christine Holmes, as well as Allstate's Corporate Office was far less than satisfactory with my most recent claim. I was in a roll-over accident in my vehicle where I was happy to be alive and Allstate made a terrible situation worse! After 3 months of communicating with the claims person assigned to our claim, the corporate office, our agents office (who said it was out of their hands and they were only responsible for billing and insuring my payments were on time) and about 3 other departments, we were still not able to get a single person to help us throughout the entire claims process. As a result, we felt as if we were on our own to figure out everything. It took 4 months to settle the claim! In the meantime, Christine Holmes office invoiced me for the replacement vehicle even though we had not settled on the claim. There was no rush on their part due to there not being any expense to them, I didn't have rental insurance. Therefore my three cars, two homes and umbrella policy have found a new home! Christine Holmes' office is one of the worse insurance agencies I have ever dealt with. Be warned: if you are considering them for coverage look elsewhere. If you are thinking about Allstate Insurance and Christine Holmes specifically, I would recommend that you look elsewhere; when you need the company and agent most they will not be there to help you. You are not in the "Good Hands" that they promise!
