Not sure how he stayed in practice. First time in his office, I gave him my medical history, in…read morewhich in future appointments he always got wrong. As if the doctor has the beginning stages of dementia. At the very least, he did not take careful enough notes to remind himself of a conversation he had with his patient and the reasoning why he prescribed a particular treatment plan. Decisions made following a thorough, lengthy discussion during visits, he would prescribe medication, one would assume based off of his professional medical expertise, only to later insinuate that I somehow 'tricked' him into him prescribing a particular medication. Finally, as he begins the process of retiring, he hires two young ladies who should not be in the field of medicine. Young, condescending, belittling, unprofessional, and would reverse an established treatment plan on a whim. No discussion. No replacement treatment, just stopped because they just didn't like it. If you've never found yourself in this type of situation with your established medical team, I will tell you, it is terrifying. There is nothing you can do or say. As your new, forced upon you physician/PA/nurse, they hold all authority, removing you off medication that you depend on as part of your care. Absolutely do not trust this practice. It was an embarrassing and humiliating experience. I was embarrassed for them. Akin to a group of children playing doctor. Clueless and dangerous.

As with that kind of disease, you are shuffled around to many different specialists & when I found myself at the end of my rope to figure out a problem I was having, good ol Dr Justa thought outside of the box & sent me to a specialist that actually helped. As a family, we can't say enough good things about her. She is really an exceptional physician & I've had other doctors call her exceptional as well.

I have been a patient of Dr Gordon and New York Pain Management for over 15+ years. He is, by far,…read morethe best Pain Management Dr I have ever seen (and I have seen many!). He is caring, takes time with his patients and most importantly, he takes his time with procedures. I moved from New York to Florida 5 years ago and still keep him as my primary Pain Management Doctor. He is worth the 1800 mile trip because he is THAT good. I tried to find a doctor in my area, but it is impossible. No one else will take the time , or effort to listen to you and then try to help you with your problems. I don't want narcotics thrown at me, I want something to help with my pain to help me lead a semi-normal life (in between procedures). I understand that nothing is a fix, but I am a realist and know that these procedures are here to help me live my best life. He has helped me more than he will ever know. Staff come and go in every office, but he is the constant i rely on.

Once I got that straightened out. I am still in pain I wasted at least three months trying to have something done for the pain I deal with on a daily basis.

Please explain why you stated that to me? I didn't say anything because I was in shock that you asked me such a question. A red flag went up in my brain telling me never to see you again if this is your very unprofessional attitude. You usually order more than one tube of blood for lab work. But you only ordered one, not the usually 5 or 6 tubes. And that one tube of blood stated more blood test are required. Yet, you're asking me why I'm coming to see you! If I do not use fluoride toothpaste, I have many cavities, tooth woes. I have terrible dry mouth and eyes. I get terrible cold sores in and outside my mouth. I am fatigue and my joints ache. No, I do not have rheumatory arthritis but all my joints hurt. Apparently rheumatory is your big money maker, get those expensive infusion. Well, what about my pain ?

The moment he entered examining room he was friendly and attentive. During visit he answered my questions thoroughly, even questions I didn't know I had. He asked both my husband and I questions to make sure he was informed of how I was doing at home as well. Dr. Rashid turned my uncertainty into a better understanding of what was going on with my lungs and my breathing issue. He did not rush our visit, instead took time and went abovevand beyond what I expected. I was quite panicky over my shortness of breath and my overall slow recovery before seeing Dr. Rashid. After my visit, I felt a huge weight lifted and I was able to relax for the first time in over a month literally due to having things clearly explained to me. I am very grateful!
