It was obvious that the previous front desk person who scheduled me didn't do so successfully, but the front desk didn't care and simply said they couldn't do anything, as if I just showed up randomly at a time never scheduled for me. They did not try to check if I could still see the doctor today or try to schedule me for another day. I immediately cancelled my future cleaning appointments and will not come back again. My wife will do the same. It isn't the first time they messed up things. For at least 2-3 times, they had to charge extra than they initially claimed. They once charged my wife extra for my previous visit but I already paid what they claimed the cost would be during that visit. For another time they didn't file claim to my insurance correctly and I found it after 6 months and notified them. I mean I only started visiting them since like 2 years ago and their error rate was so high. I don't recommend to any one.

As part of the first appt, they ran standard tests and scans for a holistic profile. I discussed my issues with Dr.Neha (she's awesome btw and great bedside manners) and she was quick, to the point and outlined various treatment options I could choose from. Part that I was impressed with the most was, the flexibility with which the staff and dentist modified the plan of action then and there to fit my need and treated me, instead of cleaning which is what I went in for originally. Since moving here 6 years ago, I had been going to another local dentist who had great reviews, but…read morerepeatedly brought up "issues" with my teeth with an explanation that always seemed to pressure me to do the recommended treatment or else the "issue" could get worse. I was fairly certain this wasn't really necessary since I never had these types of "issues" before with other trusted dentists (and hadn't ever even had cavities!). Just as the pandemic started, I tried switching to another dentist recommended nearby, but their equipment didn't seem adequately clean (splatters on the light above and the sunglasses they gave me--at the start of pandemic times no less, it was so gross!!!). So I super-researched dentists and was so happy to find Redmond Dental with stellar reviews and longstanding expertise. They took my insurance and also could help with my in-laws' dental needs which was such a relief too! As a patient of Dr. Tung, I really appreciate all the rigor she has placed on setting up a welcoming practice (including safety measures for COVID that have adjusted as needed and are as practical as possible for both patients and her staff). Dr. Tung is very personable, meticulous, and truly cares about making sure that you're satisfied with all aspects of your dental work, and I've experienced this with her staff as well. As the name implies, they cover a wide range of dentistry services. Like many dentist offices, this is a shared space used by several dentists and specialist. This office has 4. My review is specific to Dr. Lisa Chen, my dentist, and Dayna, the hygienist, who has been working with Dr. Chen for decade+ too. I first met Dr. Chen at a Rosehill, Kirkland dental office. Seriously, 15 years ago. She had just opened this large office and had quite a team going. I stayed with her for all the years that she was there, until she became a mom, was working less hours, and eventually sold that business. Nowadays, she works Tuesdays and Thursdays at this location, choosing to spend more time with her family. Both Dr. Chen and Dayna have always been thorough and patient. They truly comb through all my dental care needs. They are not pushy, either. My last dental office told me four of my bigger fillings needed crowns - FOUR! I left them, and 2 years later, Dr. Chen and Dayna are still monitoring those same teeth and I still don't need a crown yet!! I am so done with places where the dentist has minimum face time with you during each visit, while I am still horizontal on the dental chair, and I hardly know what he/she looks like. I am also done with those were the dentist does only the most critical parts, such as drilling out the decayed portion of the tooth, then a trained somebody comes in to do the filling, then a trained somebody else comes in to do the final tidying and clean-up. I call those places assembly lines. I hate them. I finally left all those and returned to this small office, where I know I will see basically the same two people for every visit. I love it!!! For my most recent visit, I went in became of dental pains that I was suspecting to be a root canal issue. I was correct, and they referred me to an endodontist. They didn't even charge me, despite doing an X-Ray. That's a business worth returning to! Dr. Chen also speaks Mandarin and Taiwanese. I've heard of her being very, very popular amongst the Chinese population.

I only had a small front tooth chip fixed, but since it's visible, I really wanted it to look natural, smooth and comfortable. I can felt dentist she was so rush and not so care my case, I had to ask few times to get the surface adjusted otherwise, she want to leave and call it done. Even though, I left with sadness because it's still a bit below my expectation, yes my chip was fixed but it's not as comfortable and smooth as before, when I got home, I can tell this front tooth is longer than my regular teeth. Dental care is expensive and the staff has worked with me to break down payments. Dr. Han also offers a dental plan that is better than Delta Dental.
