I really enjoyed the facility and had two great cleanings. When it came down to my cavity diagnosis - I was told that I have 6-7 cavities. This was somewhat shocking to me so I went to get a second opinion, where another dentist recommended that I only had 1 cavity that needed filling, and then there were 1-2 others that he would be sure to watch over the next year. Nothing close to 6 or 7. Personally I would like to have a dentist that is more conservative in making decisions regarding the amount of dental work I need done. read more

I went to dr Neda say yah a month ago as a new patient . According to her advertisement any new patient with cleaning and new ex ray would receive a gift card . after taking new X-ray and cleaning she did not honor the gift card . Then she told me I should go to endodnotics for root canal on my 32 tooth . I told her I don't feel any pain. would it be possible to remove any cavity and then do filling . She said no . I was referred to Dr Barbizam (Enndodontics ) in Bellevue . when I arrived there I told them I already have X-ray from Dr say yah office , but they told me I need to do three D imagining and charged me $280 out my pocket then they gave me an estimate for 1,907.00 dólares charge for doing the root canal $1100 out of my pocket . I decided to go to different Endodontics to get second opinion. The new endodontics told me I really don't have to do root canal even if I need one the fee will be $400 out of my pocket . I had no reason to change my 20-year relationship with my existing dentist, but he retired and my daughter referred me to Dr. Sayyah. What a refreshing change! Easily the most friendly staff I've ever encountered, and Dr. Sayyah is the reason. Company culture starts at the top and it's clear that Dr. Sayyah sets the tone here for everyone. She is extremely knowledgable and patiently answered all my questions with humor and a smile; it's clear she enjoys her work. More importantly, she revealed knowledge of issues my former dentist never made me aware of and was not afraid to tell it like it is and show me the facts and data. She uses state-of-the-art equipment that really took me on a full tour of my mouth, it was an amazing display of how to use technology to actually improve the experience. Her office is spotless and very stylish, you get a very clear impression of success walking in the door. Prices were fairly standard, the treatment plan she presented via a written report in the folder she gave me was clear and detailed. On my 2nd visit she answered a question that came up in our first visit which she said she would research. She actually followed up on her offhand commitment! I highly recommend Dr. Sayyah. She is professional, clever, funny and always presents a smile. Dr Sayah shaved off a lot off my opposing tooth to make a crown fit, without explaining to me that she was doing this. When I complained of sensitivity she prescribed a fluoride gel. Unfortunately that didn't work and I ended up with a cavity that needed filling on that tooth. She was recommended by someone. Later I found out she gives $30 to anyone who recommends a new patient. There are much better dentist out there. read more

I switched to Dr. Sayyah over a year ago after my former dentist, also excellent, sold her practice to someone not nearly as skilled. I had been spoiled by excellent care, a gentle touch and a lovely staff at my old dentist, so my bar was high and it took me ~2 years of trying several other supposedly "top rated" dentists in Bellevue before finding the right replacement - Dr. Sayyah. I really loved my old dentist and recommended her to many people over my ~15 years as her patient... but I have to say that Dr. Sayyah and her team are actually *even better* than my original dentist. They're just as gentle, office experience just as smooth & personable, but where Dr. Sayyah and her team do even better are in their technical skills and efficient procedures. Cleanings are equally thorough but a bit faster than my old dentist, and I'm in and out quickly. I also recently had two old fillings replaced, which as anyone with fillings knows can be an excruciatingly long process - but Dr. Sayyah and her team had me in and out in less than an hour for both teeth (which look and feel great, btw). My old dentist spent a lot of time trying to correct my bite after fillings were put in (all that tap-tap-tapping with those black sheets inside your mouth!) - but Dr. Sayyah and her tech had me finished in a matter of minutes. Best of all, Dr. Sayyah & her team have given excellent consultation on every issue I've had with my teeth, including: 1) a retainer wire that kept breaking (my old dentist had insisted I keep repairing it, Dr. Sayyah said I should remove it altogether) 2) a night guard to prevent grinding (old dentist advised full mouth, Dr. Sayyah pointed out that this just gives your back teeth something to grind on and instead advised front-teeth-only guard) 3) tooth straightening (another dentist advised having major dental surgery followed by braces followed by invisilign and her accounting / insurance manager tried to hard-sell me on financing the whole thing, Dr. Sayyah advised only invisilign and her office just presented the costs and said I could just let them know if I want to schedule) 4) tooth whitening (old dentist advised just a topical paint-on gel & said nothing could be done about my naturally yellowish tooth roots, Dr. Sayyah advised three different options including a professional light treatment option that would indeed correct any natural yellowness) I know dental technology has changed a lot in just the last 15 years, and now that I'm nearing 50 my teeth aren't as naturally perfect as they used to be (seriously, I was blessed with some darned good teeth - bright, straight, no braces and no cavities for 40+ years). Some differences in consultation are to be expected over time and with different dentists, but I feel Dr. Sayyah and her team are the right combo of up-to-date technology, knowledgeable consultation, and no-pressure expertise. They know their clients are smart and can make the right decisions for their dental health if advised well on all their options. And yes, now I'm referring others to her - including my husband, with his full mouth of perfectly man-made veneers, which present their own unique challenges! read more
