This turned out to be a lie. He also had our dog in the system as "previous aggression and/or has bitten somone". This again is a flat out lie, he never even asked if our dog wss aggressive. He also told us that we had free windshield replacement. When he first said this, i thought he meant just rock chip repair, and he doubled down and told us that if we had a crack in our windshield that could not be repaired, they would pay to replace this. This sounded amazing as anyone who lives in colorado knows how bad windshields can get. These were the main lie we caught him in, as well as half a dozen others that we could not prove. We stayed with American National only after they moved us to another Agent. Andrew seems down to earth and friendly, though he is the definition of a scam artist. American National is an amazing company none the less.

At 7 years, I had a claim for tenant and hail damage. I called and left a message. A few days later I got a somewhat rude call back telling me they couldnt find my file and regardless I needed to call the insurance company. Because of the claims, my insurance company sent me a non-renewal. I called Benson and told them what the letter said. The reply from the lady who took my call was "And? What do you want us to do about it?" I said I would like them to find me different quotes. She said she would get quotes and get back to me. She never did. I called Springs Insurance Brokers and Heather was great. She started working on my quote right away, talked me through some issues and I had new insurance issued within 4 day

He continued to say, if I'm not "making money" I'll be put on medicaid and he "doesn't do that," I thought, WOW, what if I was destitute and stressed out and really needed his advice and this was his response?? He's not the broker for me. Maybe he was having a bad day, but that is inexcusable.
