This review is really late - while traveling summer of '25, daughter had a sports injury, rolled her ankle. Typical, swollen, couldn't walk on it without assistance. Went to see Dr Black, he was able to work out the tissue from down the calf, under the ankle, over the foot. Daughter walked out of Dr Black's office on her own, very minimal pain. Still swollen, but functional, back on the field the following day. Maybe we got lucky in that he found something that he could relieve, but even exploring the option is far better than the usual sports directive of ibuprofen and an ice pack. Dr Black has an amazingly calm bedside manner. Wendy, the receptionist, is a dynamic balance who eagerly greets you upon arrival. They also have a massage therapist at times who can apply a kind of electrode massage therapy. Appointments fly by with efficiency, but they are always very attentive to listen. If you arrive early to the appointment, sometimes you can go on the massage bed sooner or longer prior to your adjustment. I had purchased a Groupon in March and made an appointment the next day. The receptionist was aware I was a new patient and scheduled me for my visit the next day. When I arrived that day, I walked in and posted on the back of the office monitor read "No groupons accepted after February 2025". I mentioned to the receptionist that I was not aware of them not accepting Groupons since it was purchased in March and made the appointment the next day after purchase. I also mentioned to her that Groupon is currently advertising Dr. Black. She turned her chair around and ignored me- no apology, not even an acknowledgment that I was still wanting to see him and was willing to still pay to see him. Couldn't say better things about Dr. Black and his staff. They're professional, friendly and kind. I've had hyper-mobile joints and suffered from TMJ my entire life. I didn't think I could receive the right help for TMJ (aside from cut down on caffeine and stress) and that it'd be something I need to deal with, with no relief (Botox is always an option, but more of a bandaid). I found Dr. Black via Yelp and initially came in for neck and back relief, but once he assessed me - he said he could help me with my TMJ.
