His staff gave information on exactly what aftercare products to purchase. Aftercare instructions were followed to a T and the surgery area has healed up nicely. There were adequate followup visits to check the healing process along the way. There was one healing setback with a hematoma that was taken care of in the office at the first followup visit. I was impressed with how it was handled! Costs depend on your insurance plan. The office is squeaky clean. His staff is kind. And he has pretty cool artwork to look at!

His staff are stern 3. Communication from both sources is severely lacking. I'm rushing to move into a new home and spent all night prior painting and moving furniture and planned to shower after my appointment today. I was told I was just having a biospy today. Turns out it was a punch biopsy and I can't take a shower for 2 more days. Gross. 4. During said biopsy I watched him drop a piece of my own back tissue into a vial right in front of me as he was operating on me. Disgusting. Heard me gag. Totally unphased. 5. The spot they began to prep prior to the procedure was on the wrong side. 6. Prior to said biopsy his nurse turned on the radio to the usual station. It was 20 minutes of me sitting listening to his condescending tone through the wall while MCR & Greenday played songs about suicide, death, depression, and walking a boulevard of broken dreams.

When I got ready to leave (post procedure), they provided NO DISCHARGE papers, no instructions, nothing, NADA even though the discharge papers were included in the list of papers that I had signed on when I had come for the procedure. There is NO ONE TO CHECK AND ENSURE that the patient has a companion who will escort and/or drive the patient home after the procedure (done under Anesthesia). They just ask you the name of the person and then wave good bye from the holding room. If you are not aware, then know that the Dr's are the OWNERS and have a stake in maximizing your office visits and doing additional unrequited followup endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures. In his less than two minutes of meeting, the Dr. will recommend any or every procedure that he can do in the on-premise surgery center And yes, don't forget to have ample time (at-least 1-1/2 hours) for a two minute (or less) meeting with the DR. Tripuraneni. The staff is rude and insensitive. Don't be alarmed if you hear them talk about death and patients in the holding area for procedures. If you are an unlucky one ending up getting a procedure done here, read every paper that they make you sign. The front desk lady is pretty clever and will fold the pages in half, just exposing the areas where signatures are required. Take the bundle and spend a few moments reading it. You will be surprised what you are signing at. If you value your time and money AND LIFE, find another Dr and practice Update: Chances are that if you do end up in this place you will probably see the Dr only in the procedure room and would have been recommended a followup procedure. Search for F B I and Palm Beach County Gastroenterologist and you'll know why.

I went to palms West surgery center yesterday for a colonoscopy my doctor that did the procedure…read morewas Dr Aviv Katz who is a wonderful doctor. and I've tried to remember the names of everyone that helped me there because I was completely terrified I am 77 years old and never had a colonoscopy and I was terrified of the results but let me list the people.. the first nurse was crystal who was absolutely wonderful.. then I believe I spoke to a Vivian I'm not sure. also Raphael in the surgery room and all the nurses that were around I know this is going on and on but I can't help it I just was so thrilled with these people and the way they care for people. also the anesthesiologist Dr Stern he was very very pleasant but because I talk so much I think he was glad when he had to give me the shot to knock me out.. oops I forgot to mention Leo who was the gentleman who was helping when I woke up.. hope I didn't miss anyone but anyway anyone that needs anything like that done please do not hesitate to go there they are wonderful..

The young ladies name was Jennifer just like mine, and she was very helpful and was able to give me an appointment the very next day, she answered all of my several questions and never rushed me. She took the time to make me feel like a patient and not just a number. I will say his entire staff is AWESOME! From the check in process, to the super nice nurse Angela who did my vitals as well as the xray tech Les who took all the time I needed to do the xrays. When I met Dr.Dare I was pleasantly surprised to meet a doctor who makes eye contact during our entire conversation, he also did not rush me in any way. He had a PA with him named Jill who was also very nice! They answered all of my questions so I completely understand everything that was going on and what could be done to fix my problem. I checked out and was told Jodi would call me to schedule my surgery. She called me the same day and scheduled my surgery for the next week. She made arrangements to get my pre op tests done and told me to call her in the morning when I was going there. I did and she made sure everything they need they had, she rocks! It really helps a good doctor when they have a great staff, I have seen all to many times the doctor is great but the staff is not. Not in this case, they all work so well together and everyone was smiling and super polite and very professional. There office was very clean and they have the absolutely most beautiful orchids all over the office. If I could 10 star this practice I would! The doctor only saw me 11 days post op. I had several complications & I called his office so many times. He never called me back. He thinks he's G-D! He puts everyone else beneath him. I now have a hairline fracture & a few other very serious complications. Every single person I met at PT & asked folks who had surgery & they told me that their Surgeon saw them every 2 weeks. He abandoned me post op! That's so wrong & he shouldn't be doing any surgeries on any patients since he's extremely irresponsible! I was perfectly healthy pre-op. Does anyone drug test these doctors?
