I left Benca Dental (several names used for practice) over a year ago. I should have left mush earlier. My expensive experience with veneers (to cover chipped teeth) was not a good experience. Benca refused to brighten my veneers and told me if I wanted brighter teeth I just needed to wear red lipstick!!!! I advised her I don't wear lipstick and she didn't know what to say - but she made a lot of money off of that procedure. I also found charges for procedures NOT performed. Scam? I did get those charges removed but I was the one who found the error. Also had a tooth that was loose and care was pushed off for months. Finally came to the only care left which was to remove the tooth. Poor care. Final straw was to finish up an implant. Should have been about 30 minutes for final appointment. Instead the final product was so poorly constructed it took 2 days and 4 office visits to finish the implant! Yes, I should have left a long time ago. I've been going to this clinic for a couple years and I've seen all three providers. The care I've received has always been wonderful. The clinic is very clean, takes COVID precautions seriously and consistently runs on time. You also get a free sonicare tooth brush at your first appointment! They offer early morning appointments which is a huge plus to not have to use precious sick time. I've now referred my partner and a few friends to the clinic, and they've had great experiences as well. Highly recommended! read more

I've originally heard about this place from my co-worker who had only good things to say about them. I went in for my first checkup appointment with Dr. Laura Benca a few weeks ago and everything went great! All of the staff were friendly, professional and helpful to me. Throughout the whole time they've explained everything that they were going to do to me. I wasn't scheduled for a fluoride, but the dental hygienist talked to me about it and made sure that it was covered by my insurance before going ahead with it (which I saw later on that it was fully covered). I have sensitive teeth and the dentist and hygienist both gave me tips on how to deal with it and was extremely careful with my teeth during the exam and cleaning so that I wouldn't have any pain. It's pretty nice of them to send out cards during the holidays with their handwritten signatures and also a handwritten card from the dentist about some of the things that we went over during my 1st appt. I have been to several dentist offices over the course of many years and Benca Dentistry is by far the best one! All of the dentists and hygienists are excellent in their practice. They're knowledgeable, friendly, caring and gentle on my teeth and gums. Ive had a a good amount of dental work here including root canals, fillings and cleanings and they've done such nice work every time. I really trust them. I enjoyed Dr. Benca and her staff for the first year I was a patient. The following year I switched insurance companies and they assured me they were still covered "in network" It wasn't until the end of the year I was billed for close to $900 that was not covered by insurance. It was frustrating and upsetting to pay for someone else's mistake on top of bills I had for a new baby. They took $150 off and had the lack of compassion to still charge interest on my monthly payments. It's hard to not be bitter when Dr. Benca talked on end about how many times she's been to Europe and Asia the last time I was in. Looks like she's really hurting for that $750. read more

I love Dr. Benca, she is the best! Everyone who works in the office is so nice, they were the only office to call me back when I was looking for a dentist to help with an issue over a weekend. My teeth weren't great when I first came in due to my general dislike of dentists (multiple cavities, needing a crown) but I never got anything but kind words and support from Dr. Benca and her staff. They are all so skilled I was never worried. We got a plan together to get it all fixed and when it was all done we celebrated! Stay Away! I had an appointment for an evaluation with the dentist and a cleaning. I mistakenly gave them the wrong insurance card and then two year later was served with a lawsuit.
