This was my first time eating here. This restaurant is the main competition with the other Tex-Mex place in town, El Rio Lindo. It's definitely a case of not judging a book by its cover. The exterior of the establishment is unappealing, and portions of the parking lot are in rough shape, especially on the northern and western sides of the building. However, the service here is efficient and friendly. The food seems somewhat better than El Rio Lindo's. I had the steak and onion burrito, which was served with rice and black beans. The guacamole that I ordered was well made. I had flan for desert, and the portion size was quite generous. I plan on returning here again. read more

Service was terrible took 2 hours for 2 small steak and chicken amigos didn't have silverware and didn't even get a drink til 30 minutes of being here. Food was cold and mediocre. We had really slow service and the chips we were served were a bottom of the bag broken mess. Nearly 1/2 an hour wait to take our order. I was patient, but should have made myself noticed. Once they finally asked what we wanted and sent the order to the kitchen, the food was turned out quickly. It was good quality and the price was not too bad, (although the price for ribeye steak is rather high for what you get). I realize it's Helena and not Memphis, so you have to consider the competition set. I do appreciate the quality ingredients. It was a Saturday night and rather busy, but I think the hostess just forgot about us after seating us. Helena-West Helena didn't have much to offer when i was living there and doesn't have much to offer now, as far as restaurants. However, this place is actually nice and welcoming. Great place. Don't let the outside appearances scare you away... It looks like a run down truckstop or something from the parking lot. But inside is excellent clean very attractive decor. I am so impressed that they make all patrons wear a Covid mask prior to sitting at your table. Very nicely spaced apart tables. Food was very good. After consulting Yelp for the highest rated restaurants in the area, we had no choice but to visit Patio. It met our expectations and then some. The veggie quesadilla was perfectly flavored--full of vitamin rich vegetables with a lovely presentation. My friend got the chicken enchiladas. Again, sublime flavor and presentation. Be sure to order the guacamole appetizer, which is made on site. The helpings are so generous--you'll have plenty for a second meal. This is THE place to eat if you're in the vicinity. The newest restaurant in our little town. The Patio opened early March, 2018. The decor is warm and inviting, with several private rooms that would be great for large groups. The service is speedy and the staff are very attentive. Everything is reasonably priced, and fresh. The tacos are a must! They make their taco shells fresh! They will eventually have a full bar, but I assume they are waiting on their liquor license. I highly recommended this restaurant, and give them a full five stars! read more
