I told him I am a nurse (or at least a nurse looking for a job) and let him know that usually about after eight hours of standing up I start to get pains going up my legs into my back. He put pressure on different areas of my foot, watched me walk, and concluded that my arches drop a bit when I am walking, which could be the reason for my pain. He gave me some bright green inserts and sent me on my way. Dr. Jensen also gave me some handy tips for buying shoes. You will just have to check him out for those, since I really can't explain how to perform these handy tests on shoes before you buy them. Lastly, the x-ray tech is a hoot! I had throw up, lost consciousness in the room they had me in so the set me up on IV in an uncomfortable chair. I would think they would place me lying down because I had just told them I passed out. That care was done and went on to another test and I have waited for these results before they normally take an hour, from 10pm-2am I waited for results. Ar about 11:30 I asked for zofran and I felt dismissed and forgotten about as I never got it so I walked to my car to get my own, throwing up in the parking lot. At around 1am I had gone to the restroom and I sat down in the dirty bathroom and lost consciousness again and threw up right after, I told the front desk they told me to tell a nurse and all they did was say they would notify the Dr, I waited an hour and at this point I wanted to go home so I did at 2am. I was very disappointed with the lack of care. I waited so patiently but 8 hours is enough to me. There are times the hospital staff is on top of things and you'll be in and out in 3 to 4 hours. I came to be helped because I felt at my worst, it's sad and frustrating when you come to seek help and you go back home feeling worse than when you came in. And now have to search else where to go.
