Very rude and dishonest. Destroyed my brand new Burberry trench coat which he didn't clean and when I called he told me I was making up stories and that he's a cleaner and doesn't use an iron. All I said was my coat has a burn mark. He was prepared for my call. I only wore the coat once before I took it to him. I owned it for less than a month. Will be taking him to court! I went in to get a pair of jeans hemmed. The owner who is there everyday measured me, I asked him to save and reattach the original bottoms. Which is a common practice and I have other jeans from other tailors that have done it. He said no problem. I get the jeans back and the original bottoms were not saved. He said it's the same, which it was not. I told him he ruined a brand new pair of jeans and I want the money I paid for the jeans. He refused. Please find yourself a better tailor. A disgusting place my first encounter was July 9, 2018 around 12pm. I walked in with 5 dresses and asked how much would it be to hem the dresses up. He told me he didn't want to clean my suit and hung up. Very strange to refuse business for absolutely no reason and incredibly unprofessional. DO NOT GO HERE!!! Not only are they expensive they do not get your items clean. I brought my coat there and they didn't get it clean at all. The guy told me that it was my fault because I did things that were "dirty". When I tried to explain to him that I was dissatisfied he told me "My son is a lawyer, I know my rights". Totally absurd, and when I asked him to try again to get the stain out he threaten to keep my coat if I didn't pay him and leave!!! At that point I told him I wasn't going to pay full price for a job half done and we finally came to an agreement however while he was waiting for my credit card to go through he started to write in his computer under my name "refuse further services". Do not use this business. I brought my vintage football jersey for dry cleaning. They washed it instead, ruining the lettering and numbers. When I complained, I was told that they didn't wash it. I asked why someone would pay $5 to have a ruined jersey dry cleaned and was told that I must have washed it. I said that I hadn't washed it. I went in asking for him to sew a patch onto a pair of pants I talked to him for quite a bit explaining how I wanted the stitching and in black thread and when I asked if I could come later to get it he asked if Tuesday would be okay. I stressed how Important is was it be done because I'm leaving Wednesday (tomorrow) for a festival in Michigan (14 hour drive away) when I came to get them Tuesday at 5:30 like we agreed and he told me would be good ...he looked at me like I was crazy and asked if I could come tomorrow ....I was like u have to be kidding me if its not even started give them back I'll go else were ...he said no and wouldn't give my stuff back and told me to wait he'd do it now.i said specifically before I walked out remember in black thread and everything ..I picked them up it was in white thread done poorly its crooked, it looks terrible and I feel horrible that my man has to wear them now :/ don't go here read more

I needed to get a Gown that I purchased 3 days before a wedding,Shortened. My Husband just happened to Drop his Suite off for Cleaning and asked if they could alter his wife's Dress. I believe that he spoke to the owner of the shop that told him it would be no problem & to bring it in as quickly as possible .So I did ! They were so very nice to deal with and my Dress was shortened Perfectly and ready as Promised. It needed a Good 3 inches off, had a lining and was covered in Sequins. I couldn't be happier with the work and felt they were more then Fair with there Price. DO NOT USE THIS ESTABLISHMENT!!! The male owner, Mr Chao, is rude. My son traveled into N Y for a very important interview. He dropped his suit and shirt off at Pathway to be pressed only at 8am. Mr Chao told him to come back at 3:00 - it'll be $10. We went to pick up the suit at 4:00, only to find that the man had given my sons suit to 'some lady'. He had no idea who he gave it to. When we asked how she got it without a ticket, he said her phone number. We tried to get the phone number so we could contact her, and he had no number. At this point he got dismissive and started yelling at us that it wasn't his fault. I told him it was his fault and he needed to either pay for the suit he lost or reimburse us for the suit we had to go buy, as my sons interview was early the next morning. That's when he started calling ME a thief. He yelled he would not pay anything because I could make up any number to rob from him. I told him I would give him the receipt, my son bought the lost suit only a week before, and he yelled at me to go home and talk to my husband. I did yell back at him - I asked him what his insurance policy was on lost items - he yelled he never pay for lost items. So to clarify - I asked him 'if you give a customers items away, you will not cover their cost?' He said NEVER. So there you have it. He was rude, defensive, went on the attack when he knew he was wrong. Anyone with a modicum of decency would have apologized and said they would work very hard to rectify the situation. He did not. Long story short, we went and bought a new suit off the rack, which couldn't be fitted properly, and my son went on the most important interview of his life in an ill-fitting suit. This man should be run out of business. P. S. Don't fall for the broken-English act. He's been in business in Islip for over 20 years. And he mentioned his son the lawyer multiple times.
