I am a family practice physician from California and understand that Dr Burke must be extremely busy but at least his staff could have reached out to me as a common courtesy. Of course there are HIPPA laws but my grandmother was WITH me so could have given verbal consent or i would have been happy to pick up forms for her to sign. I expect that when a staff hears a family member is a physician they tell the doctor to return the call but i am not sure where the ball was dropped. I certainly hope Stephen Burke, MD calls Melissa Macy, DO to resolve this when time permits.

I was permitted to book an appointment with this office less than three days ago. I was confirmed for that appointment less than 24 hours ago. To be told at 7 AM this morning when I walk into the office, but they no longer accept my insurance their office never notified me and as a patient of almost 20 years, I could pay out-of-pocket to see my doctor or basically go screw. You can imagine how that could be physically upsetting so when I never threatened anybody in the office and never used any foul language, but was visibly crying, trying to advocate for myself because I would love to know if I'm walking around with pneumonia As I'm working it out or thinking I am with the office manager being told that they dropped the ball and it's their fault. I have poor Suffolk County police officers walk up behind me to escort me out when I was never asked to leave, but to the contrary, asked to hang tight while they figured out what they could do for me. To treat a patient who is begging for medical care as a criminal while you lead her to believe that you think you're helping her just to leave Heard a law-enforcement is quite honestly disgusting and despicable. I'm reporting the entire facility to the medical board. And they just lost multiple patients who have been their decades before Catholic health ever decided to slap their name on that building and they were just a mom and Pop family medicine place. They actually gave a crap about their patients!

I recommend anyone seeing this so called "Pediatrician" to take their children elsewhere…read more My daughter was not feeling well, threw up in the morning and her ear hurt. We set up an appointment today to see David Eisenberg (I will not give him the respect of Dr. by the way) We were turned away because we were 15 minutes late. His staff Katie and Joann stated that the policy is you have to reschedule if your 15 minutes late. So David would not see us. His staff treated us like we were an interruption in their day and turned us away. We managed to find a kinder and gentler Pediatrician that took us right in and will be switching over immediately. Shame on you David! You are supposed to help the sick, not turn them away. Especially sick children... disgusting
