And when we did not one person said anything nor did they even try to stop us. Approximately 5 minutes after we left they called me on my cell phone and asked where we went. Well after being their since 11:40am and it's now after 1:00pm and I only get a 60 minute break we left. They begged me to come back and I said No enough is enough we are finding a new doctors office for all my my children. Other issues delt with: Improper billing codes used to my insurance so they tried to make me cash pay for a visit. Never do they call you back at your appointment time. Trying to collect more than what our co-payment is. Very hard to get medical records from them for other doctors who request them. There #1 doctor left their practice to start his own. Too bad it's all the way in Spring Hill or I would have followed him! This place is just continuing to get worse not sure why we stayed as long as we did as other parents we know and are friends with left awhile ago. I was just hate changing places and going through all the paperwork but I will do that just to not be put in a waiting exam room for over 50 minutes with not one person coming in to check on us or say anything! Sam, the xray technician was great, answered all my questions and explained everything. I was well taken care of for sure. I went back for a self imposed follow-up to make sure there was nothing else to be done and to be checked out and that was on Wed, April 22. Another Melissa who is a care giver whom I have dealt with in the past reviewed everything, answered my questions with no rushing. There is a fantastic group of people at this Spring Hill AFC and i feel comfortable in knowing they really do care! Bless you all!

You have to scan a QR code to complete check in paperwork which was fast to do. The most we waited was 10 mins before being seen. This urgent care does do RSV testing for kids. The nurse was super friendly and knew how to talk to my niece and made her feel comfortable and not scared. She even took us in the room where there was a TV and put Bluey on for her. When they did the testing for RSV. She swapped very gently and even did a really good method for her to not feel the swab going in deep into her nose. The doctor was amazing and knew all the right words to say. Overall my experience here was great and I would come back here for any urgent care visits.

VERY DISAPPOINTING IN DEED------…read more It was very dirty The nurse was not friendly at all The receptionist was more concerned with getting my mom to change her primary to this office (RED FLAG) The doctor didn't wear gloves - but stated that he didn't see anything wrong with her foot but she should get an xray The doctor wrapped my moms foot so tight that when we took her to get her xray they couldn't believe how much it had swelled in such a short time (10 minutes) When we left the doctor made sure that I had the Request to our Patients (change form) and How to leave a Review--NOT what to do with my mom going forward how to check with them about her foot - to see her current primary care doctor--nothing about her current situation??? I called that week on Tuesday - Wednesday - Thursday to receive my mom's office notes to give to the nurses where she lives (it's required)--the receptionist told me every single day that the notes were not available as of yet?? What - then on Friday she stated that the doctor was out of the office for the July 4th weekend? REALLY? I followed up on the next Monday - Tuesday - Wednesday and still they were NOT ready? REALLY? So, mom called and the receptionist stated that she needed something for her facility that day.....The receptionist stated that she could send over the xray but she had NO OFFICE NOTES AS OF YET? We tried their portal and it didn't work? Just sayin' --BE CAREFUL OUT THERE!!

Then she wants to change my meds around after knowing me for 20 minutes. Then wants to do a nuclear stress test and when I refuse because it makes me sick, she refuses to give clearance. Just needed an electrocardiogram. This doctor is way past retirement age and not easy to understand. She also has a hard time understanding the patient. Had to repeat things several times and got nowhere. I would definitely look around. I walked out! Update: hospital requested a copy of my EKG and these people have no record of it. It's only been a day, not even 24 hours. What did they do with it? Throw it away? Told ya this place needs sued for malpractice!

I myself have been a patient for approximately twenty years. I became a patient of hers shortly after I left high school. She cares deeply about her patients, as do her office staff Caitlyn, Delores, & Kim. The people and atmosphere immediately make you feel welcome when you walk into her waiting area. The art and furniture on the walls in the waiting room & every exam room helps to distract anyone who has white coat syndrome. I only say this; because my Mom, who has been a patient of hers as for a little bit longer than I have calms down greatly, when she's in a room surrounded by art. Her blood pressure goes down greatly, when she something to pull her attention away from the medical aspects in the room around her. I can honestly say Dr. Fortner saved my life from surgical complications that my surgeon missed. In case running her own practice isn't impressive enough, she is also the Life Care Center of New Port Richey's medical director. Thanks to that position she was a part of my dad's medical team the last few weeks on this Earth as well.
