I used to shop here regularly, but the quality has gone downhill. I saw them making roti, which was good, but then witnessed someone sneeze on the samosas without any hygiene precautions. Many of the sweets repeatedly have mold or fungus, possibly because they aren't stored properly or should be frozen. Some items seem expired, and I've gotten sick multiple times after eating from here. It used to be much better, but now I'm honestly scared to shop here. I hope they improve their hygiene and quality control.

I love this place. It has everything I want to get in terms of Indian groceries and food. I usually go here to shop for snacks and sweets. But sometimes I also buy their freshly made rotis, theplas (by Western standards, they would be a type of tortillas) etc. I usually find a good variety of savory snacks here that I am a fan of. Prices are generally reasonable. The service is fine. I agree with Mak B. who wrote about watching for the narrow aisles and weekend foot traffic. This store gets congested. A lot of people come here to shop and they are all of the place. Kinda ironic as the traffic from where I come in India is like that too. :-P I like their ice cream selection as well. Good variety to choose from. Some brands are pricey, some aren't. But I feel that if you are a fan of Indian ice cream, then if you'll generally find what you are looking for. Their mithai (sweets) selection is good as well. I haven't shopped for produce here so I don't know how that selection is. I would definitely recommend this place. Go here and check out all that they have to offer. It's worth it.

Nice store...the lunch hour on a weekday is a good time to go. The produce section is lovely, and they have some items you will not find at Jewel (Thai eggplant, banana leaf, etc.). Got some fresh buns and chappati in the back since they are new to me. (Spoiler alert: I'm not familiar with Indian cuisine.) It seemed like they had a lot of workers, but I felt embarrassed to go out of my way to ask how to use certain foods (like the to-go section in front). Wished help was more forthright...guess I'll have to do some research before I head back! Be careful in the parking lot!

The new building is in a great location. The store itself is huge. The selection of vegetables is displayed so much better and the actual assortment of vegetables available is vastly improved. Instead of picking up your Indian groceries is out of cardboard boxes, you feel like instead you are at a real grocery store. There are people in the back making fresh Chappati's that are sooooooo good. They actually are giving out a free bag of Chappati's with each purchase. They are warm, soft and actually taste good even a day or two after your shopping. With the much larger store it makes it so much easier to find things which is nice. And you are not plowing each other over in the tiny isles like the old store. I actually found myself being pleasant to the people around me, instead of fighting an old aunty to try to get the "good" okra. I have a few complaints 1. There were not enough check-out people available. They have plenty of staff helping to find things, just not enough people at the registers. 2. There are no places to park the grocery carts outside, so if you have a nice car.....park far away to avoid a wandering cart that was left in the parking lot. Also since it is the grand opening of the new store, they are giving 10% off the total purchase!! I can't wait for all the other stores in the Plaza to open up soon.

And yes, in case you didn't know, while it's called "International", all those nations are in Asia. We come here mainly for two things - either getting ingredients to make hot pot at home, or just eating hot pot here. They also have dry pot, which my wife and I really like as an option. You grab a basket and fill it with whatever veggies you want, then a separate one and fill it with proteins, then you pay by the weight. You can either get it hot pot style in a big bowl of hot broth, or dry pot where they cook it in the broth but serve your food already cooked. As far as the grocery selection, they have a big seafood selection and a decent butcher area. Also a lot of Asia snacks and frozen selection, and a small liquor section too. Produce is fine. But if you're making hot pot at home, they have the sliced meat, soup base, sauces, and a little frozen fish ball self-serve area. If you don't want to eat hot pot here, they serve other Asian hot dishes, and there's a bubble tea spot and bakery here, but I haven't tried anything else besides the hot pot. Sense a trend yet? It's not as big as Joong Boo, and it's bigger than the current H Mart for now but will be interesting to see how the new one compares. Overall it's a fine grocery store and we'll come back when that craving for mala spice strikes.

The reason I did is because I find that no matter what day or what time I come here luckily despite the very small constructed parking lot, I always find parking number two and another reason I really like this place is that I do my Amazon returns here and every time I show up here the line if there is one really moves quickly. Lastly, I really like this place because they're always stocked. It seems like to me at least and every time I come looking for something they always have exactly what I'm looking for regardless of whether it's fresh fish the specific scones I like from the bakery or trying to get some type of new organic gum mints. I will call out the reason that they are four-star is because they continually understaffed their checkout lanes, forcing us customer who already paying overpriced items to become temporary employees of Amazon and check ourselves out as well. I do not like self checkout, remove the self checkout.

However, they no longer offer vegan blueberry or vegan chocolate chip cupcakes. My husband loved their house made sourdough garlic bread, and I was sad to come home empty-handed. He was excited for it. While some are celebrating "Veganuary," I am making an attempt to go gluten-free in order to empathize with those with Celiac Disease. Very doubtful that I can do it. I did ask at the bakery about their vegan fresh pizza cheese, and the nice young man at the counter showed me what they use, and I took the photo posted below. There are MUCH better options for vegan cheese than what they offer. I would rather just go cheeseless on my pizza with lots of veggies. I have no reason to return unless I am in the area for an Amazon return.

They are inconsistent in their stock - often gaps appear where something is out of stock. They also don't make it easy to find items where there are special needs, such as finding gluten-free items. Where they do have them, they are not localized in one area like you would find in other stores. We went in for a specific gluten-free item and just couldn't find it. We asked someone who works there and they said they didn't know where it was - that it could be anywhere. Regardless, I am usually able to find most of what we need. Like most people, I order online regularly. Amazon has become the Walmart of online shopping--you click and buy. I'm a Prime member and order weekly, so I feel it's important to point out that as a Prime customer, I almost never receive my orders within the promised 48 hours. Yet every time I place an order, that delivery window is what's advertised. As usual, the driver marked the package as delivered and uploaded a photo. The problem? The photo was of a random fence. Not my home. Not my porch. A fence. And that was accepted as "proof of delivery." I'm livid. This isn't just a careless driver--this reflects Amazon's broken delivery process and poor hiring standards. Who thinks snapping a picture of a random fence counts as evidence? It's pure incompetence. To make things worse, when you try to get help, you're forced into a scripted chat system routed overseas, where the agents clearly aren't trained to actually troubleshoot real issues. After explaining that my delivery never arrived, Amazon offered me $5 as compensation. Five dollars--for items that cost more in shipping and tax alone. I spend my hard-earned money faithfully with this billion-dollar company, yet there's no real accountability, no genuine apology, and no urgency to fix repeated delays that stretch into weeks. Instead, they add insult to injury with a $5 offer, as if that somehow makes things right. So I want people to understand exactly how companies like this see you and your money. They don't value loyalty. They don't care about inconvenience. And they certainly don't care about the customer once they've already been paid.
