Wow! Amazing service from the team at Auto Star…read more I drove in around 10:30 AM and asked if they could check my A/C. Two super friendly mechanics immediately came out with their equipment and started diagnosing the issue while I was there watching. They explained everything clearly throughout the process. They first confirmed it wasn't the Freon, then checked the fuses (which were good), and finally tested the compressor electrically. As expected, the compressor was shot. They didn't have the part on-site, which is understandable with how many different cars are on the market today, but they still gave me a fair price right within the expected range for my make, model, and year. By 2:14 PM, they called to let me know the car was ready. They also noticed my maintenance light was on and took care of the oil change before pickup. On top of that, they gave me honest recommendations for future services and explained what warning signs to keep an eye on. I appreciated that they weren't pushy, especially since I couldn't afford additional work at the moment. Overall experience: 5 stars. I feel confident in the work performed and trust the team's recommendations. It also feels great knowing the job was done professionally instead of having to rely on someone working out of their backyard on spare time. Thank you to everyone at Auto Star. I had a different car each time, and both times they gave me the cheapest price of all the places I called. They even carry used tires, which is great if you have a fairly common size tire (I do not). Both times I went, I called and they said they would order the tire and have it in by 10:30 the next day. I came in the next day and was in and out in an hour. They only charged $15 to mount and balance too. They did great work both times and I've had zero problems since. Seriously, if you need just one new tire, or even four new ones, this is the place to go.

I took my car to 2 transmission shops and 1 other mechanic and they confirmed that it is not the transmission and that it's working in bad faith and untrustworthy for mechanics to even charge to connect the computer. Again, I was fully taken advantage of. When I called the shop to get a refund, the owner YELLED at me at the top of his lungs. A man yelled at a woman! Not only are they scammers but they're aggressive. Save your time and money and go elsewhere!

The price is unbeatable and definitely worth driving a little out of my neighborhood for. The service was fast and he was able to advise me of another small repair I need to make. My car was making a clunking sound when it was turning and I found out I needed to replace the CV joints so i bought the two cvs and I came to the shop. Once fixed, the car is driving perfectly quiet and he also recommended an alignment which was necessary and that also has the car driving steady. All in all, being a lady it's hard to find a mechanic you can trust but I will definitely be coming back here, they are respectful and trustworthy. Would highly recommend.
