When I was about ready to do it myself he called and said he would be there in 2 days. He came and did 3/4 of it before he ran out of stain. Said he would be back next weekend to finish. Haven't heard from him! Been a month and a half and nothing. No response, and I don't even know color of stain to finish. Really disappointed because they came recommended by a fiend and this happens. I get I was a small job but at least respond to me.

They made it all seamless, you can't tell where the plaster ends and drywall begings. Very accomodating as the scope changed a little on the project but the still finished quick. We moved into a new home in Glendale, WI, downsizing from our home in Illinois. The one eyesore…read morewas the attached garage, which had dark pressed board that had holes and was basically disgusting. I interviewed 3 companies, including City Wide Drywall. Right from the initial visit, I had a gut feeling that this was the company I wanted to redo the garage. Carlos was creative in his thinking about what would be the best repair, including insulation, finishing the walls and ceiling with drywall and painting. Mostly, I had a "gut feeling" that he was the most honest and professional of all. And, the quote was extremely reasonable. All of his workmen were professional, on time, courteous, friendly and did a great job cleaning up at the end of the day. Carlos and his crew were perfectionists, making sure that the job reflected the quality standards that City Wide Drywall has set for itself. In addition, I realized that their work wasn't limited to drywall, as a couple other things were repaired. Don't begin a project in your home or business without contacting City Wide Drywall first. You'll be extremely happy you did!!!

We had him paint our first house and it looked incredible for several years before we sold it. We later found out the home had a fire and when we went back to see our old house it was sad to see all the damage, but the paint still look great. We recently hired Jeff to redo our deck and paint it. Jeff's attention to detail has been superb. It looks better than new. He's improving issues that the original builder had done that we didn't even notice and he's fixing all the problems that we knew needed repair. The man truly busts his butt, shows up on-time and consistently, and does a great job in painting, carpentry, and repair. I highly recommend Jeff Van Pool & Van Pool Painting & Decorating. I plan to hire him again for other projects in the future, too. He is the third generation to run this business and his personal vast experience in the business shows. His family has been doing this so long he gets steep discounts on his materials, too, And he passed the savings onto me. I think he told me that Van Pool Painting has been in business for 85 years. That's incredibly impressive to me. You have to be doing something right. Finally, he's just a very genuine, authentic, and really nice guy. I've really enjoyed having him working on our two homes.

From estimate to final product, I was absolutely happy. I've had nightmare invoking experiences with painters on several occasions. This time, more than ever, it was mandatory the job be done well because I am trying to sell my home. Nick never tried to sell me "a package"! He listened to me and made sure he understood my project and timeline. He even helped me limit the scope of my project to what really needed to be done. He gave me complete control if all the decisions -- the color, the paint, and the scope of the job. He even rose to the occasion to help me when my deadline suddenly changed. It was a true pleasure working with him to get the job established. Then, on the day of the job, he amazed me again. Nick's painters showed up with Nick on their heels with the paint. Once I told him the color, I was done (until I had to write the check, of course). I thought bosses just give out orders but there was Nick physically jumping in to help get the job started. Once he was sure the painters had what they needed, he left them to get the job done. There was 2 painters and they were amazing. They were personable and respectful of me and my home. I was never concerned about them or my property. They worked quickly and efficiently, cleaned up, put everything back in it's original place, and bid me good evening. The next day, as agreed, one painter came to finish up and make sure everything was done well. I will absolutely keep this company and use them again. I couldn't be happier. I've already recommended them to 3 friends -- all of whom know how hard it is to impress me. If you're looking for professional, considerate, respectful, efficient, reliable, and trustworthy painters at fair prices who won't try to sell you a product you don't want or need, this is your go-to company! Stop monkeying around with big names, fancy commercials, ridiculous promises, unrealistic timelines, mind boggling prices, and rude or no customer service! 360 Painters are amazing. I'll never use anyone else. I wish I could stay and enjoy the beautiful work they did in my home. I can't do that but I can call them at soon as I get the keys to my new home. I have a sneaky suspicion I'll need an accent wall!

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the wallpaper installation performed by Nicolas Sopa of…read moreAbstract Painting Plus. Nicolas installed expensive, high-end wallpaper in two areas, and the finished workmanship was not what I would expect from a professional installer. There were numerous issues with the installation, including uneven and poorly finished cuts, sloppy corners with excess and dangling pieces, and areas where the wallpaper was not properly adhered and is already lifting. The powder room had similar finishing issues. The handling of the wallpaper itself was also concerning. I observed a significant amount of crumpled and wasted material and saw the wallpaper being cut and handled in a way that did not demonstrate the care I would expect when working with expensive material. We also paid to have several outlet/switch covers and a laundry cover wallpapered. One was not completed, and the laundry cover was taken with the understanding that it would be finished and returned. It was never returned. Some covers and other areas were left with painter's tape. Most disappointing, however, was the lack of follow-through after the installation. I have made multiple attempts to contact Nicolas to discuss the workmanship and give him an opportunity to address the issues, but I have not received a response. I have photos of the finished work I had hoped to include so that others can see the workmanship for themselves. I would have much preferred to resolve these concerns directly, but after repeated unanswered attempts, I feel it is fair to share my experience.
