The interior of our house has unpainted woodwork in each room. We needed painters who were very…read morecareful so that the wood would not be splattered with paint. Based on our neighbor's recommendation, we hired Pride Painting and Spackling to paint the interior of our house. This is a family owned business. Penny and Brian gave us detailed estimates of the work to be done in each room. Brian and his crew took their time to spackle and prepare each area. The painting was precise and our rooms now look fresh and new. They also had the challenging job of painting our entrance hall with a high ceiling and walls that extend to the second story. We were very pleased with the outcome and would highly recommend Pride Painting.

He arrived at the time the office said he would and was professional, polite, did a fabulous job, interacted with us and left a very clean work area. Everything one expects from a service but doesn't always receive. The office did a very good job of keeping us informed of the schedule and his arrival. The next time we need dry wall work done we will only make one call - Patch It Up - in our opinion, a very a responsive company.

I wrote him a 5 star review and then followed up several times regarding the stairwell. Between leaving several messages on his personal phone and Yelp, I still never received a call back about the stairwell. If a company is too busy, or doesn't want to provide the service, they should just let you know. It's a shame because his guys did a great job but I'm a stickler for following through on things and this did not happen, leaving me hanging for a couple of weeks before finally moving on to find another company. I am loyal to small businesses in my community and I took the time to give this company the benefit of the doubt but I guess my job wasn't profitable enough, but he got his 5 star review.

I had spoken to Gurkirat Singh of RSD Painters who is listed as their Operations & Project Manager on Linkedin. I transacted with him and provided a service and he paid me $300. After the service was rendered and completed, Gurkirat Singh charged back his purchase with no communication or explanation and blocked me on all platforms. I say this because Shaun is the owner of RSD Painters and his number and email was used to make the purchase and I assume credit card was as well. I'm not sure if this was fraud on the business behalf, but one has to think that something fishy is going on. Shaun Dhillon from RSD Painters and Gurkirat Singh should make things right if they want to continue to do business.

Brian of Island Superior Home Improvements gave me a very detailed estimate which was a very good price for the work that needed to be done. Then the cost of the additional repairs that were absolutely necessary, were extremely reasonable. The work was done in a timely manner and the deck looks GREAT. Brian and his employee was very responsible to keep me informed about every step of the process and the cleanup afterwards. I am looking forward to recommending Island Superior Home Improvements to any of my friends who need work done. (I already have). Great company to work with.
