Yummy chicken bulgogi mac--super hot and fresh from the oven.

Another great meal from Pastorante. This time, it was baked ziti, fettuccine alfredo, and a meatball mozzarella bake. All were delicious!

This is a fantastic italian bistro with a solid neighbor hood feel. Informal, friendly staff, great salads, and wonderful homemade pastas. The squid ink pasta with shrimp was delicious and perfectly prepared. Of special note was the vegetarian lasagna.

My dining experiences here have been so exceptional that I've often found myself in a blissful food coma afterward. It's a unique feeling that's hard to describe, but it's something you'll understand once you've dined here. I cannot understate how good the food is here. Everything is made from scratch and tastes like it's from your Nona's kitchen. I love Italian wedding soup, and this is the best! Do not try to compare it to that stuff from that "OG" place because their soup is water with a few ingredients compared to this. What should really be raved about is their Crabmeat and Shrim Mac. The seafood tastes like it was caught minutes before they started prepping this dish; the pasta is the spotlight of every meal here, thus the name and the cheese! Someone once said that you cannot have too much cheese, and this dish made me a believer. The restaurant is small, so when it fills up, take your food to go and enjoy along the river or at Ft. Hunter. The restaurant is also BYOB, so treat yourself to something different. Grab a bottle of fine wine and enjoy Pastorante.

We traveled to Harrisburg and wanna try the local restaurant. Pastorante amazed me and my family A Lot! Clean - environment is clean and locate in the central and central Yummy - the pasta ( we ordered Fulsilli Pesto & Fettuccine Alfredo) are very fresh, creamy, not salty, yummy! Bravo! We enjoy led very much and highly recommended!!

It was our first time here. Service was okay, not great. I decided to be adventurous and had the squid ink pasta, and loved it. I was worried it would be fishy or have an odd taste, but it didn't at all. One of our major disappointments was that they didn't have the oxtail ragu. That was the dish many at our table were planning on ordering. The sausage pasta was fine, just felt like something we could make at home, with the exception of the homeade noodles. We all agreed we wouldn't get that again, but made that choice on a whim when we learned they were out of the oxtail. We loved the bulgogi chicken Mac. It had such a unique flavor and was spicy and sweet. The mushrooms were good, but not something I would order again. I plan on going back to try the ragu. Prices were very reasonable for the food you get and the portions.

This quaint restaurant was to die for. This pasta was probably the best I've ever had. It also didn't make you feel super heavy after. Portion size's we're perfect and the taste was spectacular. From just the outside I don't think you would know what kinda gem you have just stumbled upon.

Great pasta place; they make their own! Good red sauce. It's small and not a lot of atmosphere but always friendly and a good time.

It took a little time to get it going, but after a quick assist from a jump box, I finally heard the rumble of those horses galloping between my legs. Is there anything better than a Harley adventure? I rode up to Fish Creek and looped back to Derry Street, where I found my favorite slice of pizza. I've reviewed this spot before, but that was for a regular slice. This time, I ordered the Grandma slice. The design of the sauce and cheese was crossed over the slice in a perfect square, like you're looking out of a window into the countryside. As I took the first bite, my mouth jumped with joy. This was my first time having a Grandma pizza from this place, and it was amazing. I'll say it again: I dare you to try eating this with a fork and knife. Take your time and enjoy all the flavor notes as they hit your taste buds. Of course, I paired it with a Coca-Cola--because what is pizza without a cold Coke? Before hopping back on my horse, I stopped by the restroom. I was amazed at how clean it was; there was actually soap in the dispenser! I've been to a lot of pizza joints where the soap is always empty, so I was happy to actually get clean. I highly recommend this place for both the pizza and the Mexican cuisine. This remains my number-one pizza spot in the Harrisburg area. I give this place a hard 4.8 out of 5.

This little hole-in-the-wall sits on the backside of a rivertown, serving up old-school vibes and seriously good pizza. The dough and sauce are made in-house, and you can taste it -- crust was crisp yet airy, with a buttery richness and just enough chew to make each bite satisfying. Sauce had a bit of spice, cheese was bubbly, browned, and full of real-deal flavor (no sad, fake cheese here). Toppings? Plentiful and delicious. We came dangerously close to finishing the whole pie, stopping only two slices short. For drinks, my adventure buddy went classy with an Old Fashioned (good, but nothing to write home about -- and the bar's lack of Luxardo cherries made him sad), while I kept it real with a draft Miller Lite. The beer was cold and clean -- and honestly, from a hole-in-the-wall bar, that's something I appreciate. Bartender doubled as our waitress and handled it like a pro, even on a slow Monday night. The place is dark and cozy, decorated with lots of '50s-inspired artwork, and apparently has a rooftop bar -- sadly closed during our summer date night. The bill came to $42 for the pizza, two drinks, and a tip -- budget-friendly date night win. No on-site parking, but plenty of free curb spots out front or municipal lots a block away. Safe area for an after-dark stroll. If you're into unpretentious spots serving pizza that punches above its weight, Fratelli's is your jam.
