Near Praça de Londres, formerly Praça do México and an area frequented by artists of the past, it is surrounded by tile that guests are invited to taste Portuguese favorites ranging from composed plates to some of the very best Pastries in town.
Not exactly English-friendly, though easy to navigate thanks to familiar items, it was after perusal that six items were selected, Nata to start and finish each featuring flawless Pastry filled with Egg Custard lightly sweetened and tinged in Cinnamon.
Passing on savories, though several are offered, fans of Sugar will find plenty atop Mexicana's Palmera Glaseada while the Mil Folhas competes with Lisbon's best in terms of taste as well as texture.
