Skip. Completely skip. Save yourself the money and put it towards a meal anywhere else. The food at the grocery store down the street looked fresh & delicious. Try that, try anything else instead. I couldn't muster more than a few bites of the Mafaldine zucchine e limone. The lemon flavor was intense which I usually like, but there was so much sauce that the pasta could barely be felt. On top of that, the cheese was so salty, that it made the dish inedible. I don't know what cheese is best for this dish, but no way it was the kind it came with. After the dishes come out, you're given a bread basket. The bread was wonderful. The butter though? Frozen. Not spreadable. The inside is nice. The music is a bit loud but bearable. The service is typical European slow and you're ignored, which is expected. Yet despite the lack of service, the payment screen still asks if you want to leave a tip. read more

We ate at this restaurant while staying in Wengen. Our waiter had a lot of tables but was quick and efficient. I appreciated that he brought out my toodlers food with the apps so that we could all enjoy our meals. One thing I will say is that we went in specifically for Fondue. He asked if it was for one or two people and we said two - so we got a huge portion and obviously got charged for two. I asked at the end if we could have just ordered one to split and he said yes. Talk about going downhill over the past few years. Be aware that the service here is absolute CRAP. The food isn't much better. The Entitled workers will give you an attitude if you ask them for something once the food is ordered. We came during live music night and the musician was lively and knew many songs and played upon request as well. We sat outside for dinner in the summer, weather was lovely. Service was good and friendly (except for a grouchy waiter). I enjoyed my Lasagna but my husband would rate his food at 8 out of 10 (Mediterranean pasta with chicken) because chicken lacked flavor and was unseasoned. ZERO STARS! This place is bad. Please go anywhere else in this town. The ownership is bad and the food was terrible. Please go anywhere else in Wengen, there is a corner store next store that serves better food and the food is frozen. The pasta tasted like hand soap and several of our meals were luke-warm at best. Furthermore, we asked if we could sit by the window while the server actively yelled at us. As we walked up the stairs the male server grunted, mad that we got a table by the window near the Main Street. He claimed that the place will be full BUT when we left by 930 it had never filled up past 30%. On New Year's Eve, we went up to the walk-up bar to get champagne about 20 minutes before midnight. People behind us were being served before us and 5 minutes after midnight they finally addressed our order. They acknowledged our order several times despite any service. Choices of sauce was pretty much mayonnaise overpowering the choice of flavor (blueberry for knuckle and curry garlic for ribs). Corn bread was a dried up waffle. Pickled onions tasted old. This seemed like an upscale restaurant and we are happy to pay for good food and service. This restaurant did not deliver on either food or service. Plus tap water is $5 per liter. As we arrived in Wengen for 3 nights, we were advised by our hotel concierge to make dinner reservations quickly, as most of the local restaurants were booked out before 6. However, we seemed to luck out with Pasta & More as we were able to simply walk in (around 7pm) and were seated right away. The staff were very accommodating, all smiles as they brought us water, bread and butter, and our bottle of wine promptly. We decided on 2 pasta dishes (which were of good proportion, very delicious). Fairly priced. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting the area! read more

After a long day of hike, I was craving a big bowl of pasta and they delivered. The price is reasonable and the portions are good size. The full size is big enough to feed 2 people and very satisfying for 1 hungry person. The dining room is modern yet cozy. They offer outdoor deck dining in the back and street dining too. I like that they are open fairly late and is close to the train station and grocery stores. The service was attentive but the servers can get busy when the tables fill up, but no complaints. We didn't try, but they also offer a few different fondue dishes. They have a fairly diverse menu, so you should be able to find dishes that appeal to everyone in your family. read more

This place was part of the hotel Victoria which we stayed in. We loved the hotel and we loved this restaurant even more. Although we did not eat at the restaurant the service was exceptionally wonderful. We came in one night for some dessert and hot tea. The almond cake hit the spot like no other. This Italian restaurant, while it may not be the best, has its high points along with its lows. I ordered a small caprese salad along with a salad entree that contained stir fry vegetables, grilled chicken, and a sweet chili sauce. While the salad was good, (the mozzarella was fluffy and flavorful, although the arugula and tomato paled in comparison) I do not agree that it was worth 20 Francs. The entree was a refreshingly exotic taste on pasta that I haven't experienced in Switzerland, but unfortunately, the uniquely shaped pasta was hard to eat, and often fell apart when speared by a fork. Overall, while this might not be my first choice when it comes to Italian dining, it was still an enjoyable meal. read more
