Passion's couldn't help me. I needed a grave blanket put on a grave at Geenmount Cemetery. I am from out of state and could not put it on myself. I was told they don't do that even though they did it last year and the year before. I found another florist in the area that was able to help me. Very disappointed in Passion's. read more

I reached out to Passion's Florist in hopes to find flowers and floral arrangements for my wedding day. I started with first asking if they were available on my wedding day and were willing to deliver to my venue. Which I have done with every vendor I have dealt with thus far and no one else has had an issue with that. The main florist forwarded my e-mail to their wedding florist, whom got back to me and proceeded to ask me what I was looking for, scheduling, etc. As I was scrolling through e-mails, I saw that when the two florist were forwarding e-mails to each other, they were mocking my e-mail and saying I put no effort into my e-mail. I'm confused as to what effort needs to be put in when asking if they are available, but I certainly will not be giving business to a company with that much unprofessionalism. I needed a corsage and boutonniere for my son's prom. I was assured by the daughter of the owner (Brenda) that they could give me what I wanted. Just all white roses. Simple request. I placed the order 2 weeks before the prom left a $50.00 deposit. They wanted $65.00 for the corsage (which come to find out now by calling other florist in the area was double the price. And $20.00 or $25 for the boutonniere. The owner called me the day before I had to pick up the order for the prom (5/13) & told me the white roses she received were crappy looking and didn't want to use them can I change my order is there any other I would want she suggested hot pink which is nothing close to plain white. She was rude and acted like I was an inconvenience to her because I didn't want to change my order the day before the prom because her supplier gave her bad flowers she told me she would order new flowers for that morning since I was picking up the order in the afternoon and that it would be OK and then I could go back to my original order. So I don't even know why she called me and got me all upset when she should've just ordered new flowers and taken care of the situation before calling the customer and asking me to change my order to something totally different. When I got there the following day to pick up my order I walk in and my order is sitting on the counter not in the refrigerator the white roses were more of a eggshell white because they were not fresh the roses that weren't open were brown along the edges the ones that were open were brown on the inside. she had white feathers yellow feathers crystals on springs stuck in between the roses it was the most hideous design I have ever seen and could never imagine a 16-year-old girl in 2022 wearing that to prom (it had a wristlet stuck to it that was stretchy like a hair scrunchie but made out of beads it kept spinning on my sons dates wrist it was getting stuck to her satin dress she had to take it off in the middle of the night it was such a disappointment) I expressed to the owner when I was paying the balance on the bill how disappointed I was at the design and the hideousness the rottenness of the flowers, she kept shaking her head no wouldn't even consider my concerns &didn't seem to see anything wrong with them in her eyes. She simply didn't care that the customer wasn't pleased. I expressed to her it was the first time and last time I will ever deal with her business. I walked out got in my truck put the flowers in the seat next to me put my seatbelt on then I see her coming out towards my vehicle with her phone I figured she might be offering me a discount so I put my window down and she wants to take pictures of the flowers now so she can show her daughter what the problems were as I'm holding the flowers up to her and pointing out what the issues are yet again,she's trying to take pictures of these flowers, I'm very upset at this point because I just told her inside what the problems were and she didn't really care to listen. Now she wants to take pictures of these flowers and she kept trying to reach into my vehicle with her phone to take some. I had to keep telling her to get out of my truck don't reach into my vehicle and that I had to leave so I can get home to my son to get him ready for prom to please get away from my vehicle and to go back into her establishment. the lady is a nut they are over priced their design method is stuck in the 70s and 80s and they are extremely rude and do not listen or care about the customers needs whatsoever I do not recommend this place at all!!!! I can't speak highly enough about this Florist. I called (extremely last minute) to purchase a bouquet for my friend and to my surprise Brenda answered very cheerfully and listened to me stress how I wanted something beautiful for my friend, but had no idea names of flowers. By the time I hung up I was in awe of a business who treated every customer (even the one calling 5 mins until closing) respectfully and like family. When my friend sent me the picture of her bouquet I was shocked, it was even more beautiful than I could have ever imagined or requested. I cannot say enough wonderful things about Christina as a person, let alone begin to describe her talents as a florist! As impressed as I was with her from the moment I called with my first inquiry, I never expected that ALL of my expectations would be surpassed by the finished product. Christina and I first spoke on the phone to schedule a free consultation. At the appointment a few months later with my mother and sister, we talked for over an hour about my vision for my wedding and I showed her pictures of my color palette. She penciled in the date of my wedding and I took a little time to think things over. I'm pretty sure that it only took a day before I secured the date with a $500 deposit. After that, Christina and I were in (what seemed like) constant contact, since I had a million questions about a million things. She answered them all! At our final details meeting, I made some changes to the centerpieces we would be using, and Christina didn't skip a beat! She came up with a beautiful idea right on the spot that absolutely wowed all of our guests at our wedding a few weeks later. On my wedding day, Christina was at the venue long before I was, setting up our flowers on what would turn out to be one of the hottest August days of 2022. I cannot describe my thoughts when I finally saw everything come together! The flowers were BREATHTAKINGLY BEAUTIFUL and only became more so as the day went on, despite the heat. From early on, I had a vision of what I wanted my wedding to look like, and Christina was able to execute that vision and then some. She is an absolute artist and a phenomenal human being! On the way to the venue on my wedding day, my sister (and MOH, who gifted us the flowers) realized she left the check for Christina's final payment at the hotel. She had already mailed two checks which--LITERALLY--got lost in the mail and now...here we were without our final payment. We sent a family friend back to the hotel to retrieve the check in a hurry, but Christina never sweated it. She swore over and over that "it will all work out." And that, it did...in the best way possible! Despite having her own wedding in the midst of all my planning (and yes, she did her OWN flowers), Christina never failed to return an email or a phone call immediately. I don't know how she managed, but from start to finish, our experience with her was just incredible! My now-husband and I live a good forty minutes from Passions Florist, so we go to lengths to get to her, but she (and her arrangements) are 100% worth it and I would more than highly recommend! read more

I am VERY particular about the things that I like and I always have incredibly specific visions for parties that I plan. Christina completely understood my vision and guided me towards flowers and greenery that perfectly matched what I was going for in terms of centerpieces. Not only did they donate the flowers to my sons fundraiser, they also had me bring the mason jars my sister made to them and filled them with the flowers and water beads. Wow! What great people. I called in a order from Richmond Va for a birthday flower delivery for someone very special to us. The weather was bad, they called and called to ask what we wanted to do. I accidentally gave them too bad phone numbers - :(. They emailed us, we got on the phone and they delivered at a perfect time when someone was home! The arrangement was amazing! I visited Passion Florist yesterday and spoke with a florist Rebecca and very specifically discussed a get well arrangement color palette with balloons and delivery with healthy budget of $135. I requested a picture so I could be sure my vision was met and to share with co-workers who chipped in for the arrangement. Today when I received the picture it looked nothing like what was discussed, it was underwhelming and could be a beautiful arrangement for someone else but NOT at all what I requested. When I called I spoke with Christina the owner who was quit frankly rude, defensive, and took my feedback very personally and could not understand why I was not satisfied. Again, the arrangement looked nothing like what was discussed and as stated would be beautiful for someone else. Instead of meeting me with customer service I was met with an "I don't know what to tell you attitude" and treated as if I was ignorant to the knowledge of flowers. Miscommunication happens but it is the customer service that makes a client a repeat customer and I will not be supporting a small business that talks to their customers so disrespectfully. read more
