My sister and I went to plan my mothers funeral flowers. We wanted 3 large bouquets and one urn wreath. We requested her favorite colors, blue yellow and white. When it comes to flowers, I am particular, demanding & downright snobbish. I recently moved back to the area, and went to a florist that someone recommended (that I will not name here). I didn't like any of the flowers in their case, they all looked sad and near death. So I traveled over to Main St. Medford to another florist that was recommended, and they were not open At 10:45am on a weekday. Seriously? On my ride home, the sign for Medford Florist & Gift shop caught my eye. I'm so glad it did! I entered the quaint little shop, with the intoxicating smell, and was immediately happy. Lovely little gifts for sale and the flower case was filled with bright, happy & healthy flowers. I brought my own "vase" (an ice bucket) since the flowers were a Get Well gift for a man, and didn't want the arrangement to be too feminine. I told Simon what I wanted and left hopeful with my fingers crossed that I was getting what I paid for. Simon exceeded all of my expectations! When my friend sent a photo of the flowers, I was so pleased! Just beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! I highly recommend Simon & Medford Florist and will ONLY use them in the future! When we booked our daughter's wedding with Braddock's Tavern in Medford we received the recommendation that we check out Medford Florist to provide the flowers for the event. We made an appointment and met with Simon, the owner. Simon was fun to meet with and we brainstormed our ideas with pictures we found on the internet. Amazing customer service! They truly went above and beyond. I was placing an order from another state and was not sure if the recipient would be at home or not. I sent a quick note via email explaining the issue. They called from NJ to FL to make sure the arrangement would be to my liking for color selection. And . . . when she was not home they did not leave the flowers because the weather was not conducive to keeping them pretty. They called and arranged for delivery the next day (Sunday). I wanted to take the time to write a long overdue update. I asked Simon to recreate my wife's bridal bouquet for our 1 year anniversary and I couldn't have been happier with the way the arrangement came out. It was massive and very fresh. The roses were as firm as can be and lasted a solid week. My wife was so happy with them. Not only was the arrangement very artistic but working with Simon to make it happen was just as easy as when he did our wedding flowers. I wanted to make sure they were a surprise for my wife. Initially Simon said he could have them delivered late afternoon but my wife and I were off for the day and I wanted them to be bedside for her when she woke up. I called Simon right back to inform him of my plan and asked if it would be possible to get them early in the morning. He graciously obliged and was able to meet me outside of my house at 6 AM that day! Now that is dedication and going the extra mile to make the customer happy. My wife was surprised and had no idea how they got in the house. I will continue to work with Simon and Medford Florist & Gift Shop for anything floral I might need. We recently celebrated my mother's 90th birthday. I called to have flowers delivered. I asked specifically that they be "magnificent" for such a celebration. I asked if spending $100 would get such an arrangement. I was told the higher you spend, the larger the arrangement. So I went with a $125.00 arrangement ($145 after tax and delivery). When we went to my mother's house on her birthday I was quite taken aback when I saw the arrangement that was delivered. Far from magnificent. Pedestrian to say the least. If I hadn't known what I had spent and had to guess what they cost, I would have guessed $50.00. Was extremely disappointed and quite honestly, felt ripped off. read more

He is extremely polite, knowledgeable, and full of amazing ideas. I helped him by bringing pics of my own ideas to the table and he helped by adding his own insight. I had so many questions and he was very quick, informative, and patient with returning my emails. I got married in December and Altho some of the flowers I wanted weren't available he was able to substitute them beautifully. We went to other floral shops for quotes but had the best feeling about getting our bridal bouquets and boutonnières from his shop.
