It stated a bouquet using garden flowers in an uplifting and vibrant color palette. I was not happy with the flowers they first sent; my fault, I could have been more helpful in describing what I wanted, but they made it right immediately! I don't like calling 1-800-FLOWERS or one of the consolidators; I find the florist on Yelp and call them directly. This place has been my go-to east coast florist for years. You can choose an arrangement from their web site, but I usually let them work with the best flowers at hand. I know the modern trend is the tight-knit flower arrangement barely four inches high. Not for me. I like it big, big, big -- tall vase, long flowers and lots of scent. For somewhere between $50 and $75, Nature's Gift always puts together something that will have my mom's friends saying, oh wow your son is awesome. With mother's day this weekend, it was time to place my trust in owner Dave. Hey, what smells so good? Oh, Robbie B sent his mom flowers, again.

I've found my go-to shop! After checking out a handful of flower shop pages on Yelp, I kept coming back to Millenium - I loved the arrangement photos posted by other Yelpers - especially the one posted by Maria L. On the website, arrangements looked nice, though a bit outdated, so I called the shop to articulate exactly what I wanted. That's when I was connected with Yana, who went above and beyond to make sure I was happy with my order. Yana explained that they have a great designer in-house and she was able to work with me on my price point. Today, I was pleasantly surprised when she sent me several pictures of the finished arrangement via text. She wanted to confirm that I was happy before the flowers went out for delivery. This has never happened before and I thought it was such a nice touch. As you can see from the photos, the flowers are gorgeous. Most importantly, my mom, who is retiring on Friday, absolutely loved them!

However, this particular occasion was simply a "just because" floral delivery to my girlfriend...and, happily, I think I got myself a "Get Out of a Mess Free" card. My initial order was via their website. It was easy to navigate, the selection was impressive, and I found the price of the flowers generally reasonable for the area. I was able to upgrade my order (I like to think ahead) and personalize a card to surprise my fempanion on a busy day. While there wasn't any time frame provided when I initially ordered, there was an option for quicker delivery (for an additional charge). As the day progressed, I was able to call the store directly and get a general idea of when the flowers would arrive. Fortunately, they made it there before the end of the work day. My fempanion sent this picture. It is definitely different than the picture, for which I was grateful as I had paid for an upgrade. The flowers were fresh, the delivery was courteous and professional, and my card was a hit. I am so grateful for this experience and would enthusiastically recommend them in the future.

I told the florist to cut one and use to add a slight touch to the 5 Roses. The florist asked if I'd like them wrapped I declined and said I have a wedding and I am just placing them inside the car so my passengers can grab them if they'd like.
