Visiting Angels of Myrtle Beach took care of my Dad 24/7 365 for almost 2 years.  It was a very…read moregood experience. Josh was managing things when we started and he understood the level of care we needed.  Only had one bad experience and after talking with Josh he didn't charge us for that day.  Early on Josh had set a schedule so for the most part we had the same caregivers. They became part of the family. The caregivers also had to deal with my Mom and to say the least she wasn't handling Dad's illness very well.  But, they were kind and respectful.  Josh handed the day to day operations over to Melanie during this period and the level of care never changed.   About 2 years after my Dad passed away, Mom needed some physical therapy but we didn't want her driving anymore.  Called Visiting Angels and once again they got us setup with some wonderful caregivers. By the time COVID hit and my Mom was now isolated we decided to have caregivers come just to spend time with her.  They were a perfect match as my Mom would enjoy gabbing away with them.  They would do anything she asked. If you're trying to make the decision about bringing strangers into a loved ones home, know that Melanie and the other Visiting Angels staff will do their utmost to help you through a difficult time.
