On August 23rd, I had to say good-bye to a companion. My beautiful dog Chloe ( 14 years old) Just a few days before she was jumping up on my couch watching me on the comp. She was my "listener" when dealing with politics in this county. Some of us are fortunate to be able to come home to someone...Chloe was my someone...and I miss her a lot...she forgot to wake me up this morning. She was beautiful, intelligent and almost as stubborn as I am. She lost the use of her hips and still came in to say hello several times a day...dragging her back legs. It was time to say good-bye. I spent two days thinking about what I wanted to do, how to say good-bye while making sure she wasnt scared. I chose to have a vet come to my home (our home.) All week long people came to say good-bye...Chloe had her own following (she was a greeter in our neighborhood--she watched many children grow up here as they stopped to say hello.) I chose Dr, Sara and her husbands to come into our home to help ease her pain and to move on. They were wonderful. They were so loving towards her--respectful to her needs. I have more to say about how they took the time to care for a life that they just met. But first, how they treated me as a person mourning a dear family member. I dont need boxes of ashes, metal tags, or Chloe s toys to remember her... Dr. Sara brought in a box of small trinkets when it was over...I chose a small stone blue heart. It was exactly what I needed. When it comes time...please look into a vet coming into your home. I recommend Dr. Sara and her husband. Craig ( Dr. Sara s husband) was remarkable as he gathered us together to begin the process--he told us we were going to have a party --a celebration...Chloe was to have any treats she wanted...and was surrounded by people petting her... Both Dr. Sara and Craig talked us through every moment of what was happening...and I will be forever grateful to them...for allowing Chloe the opportunity to pass over in her own home. I am promoting this couple as a choice for when the time comes to say good-bye to a beloved pet. They came into Chloe s home and truly treated her with the dignity she deserved. She was a beautiful soul and a wonderful companion. read more

It's been a week now since we said goodbye to our kitty girl. We've had her for almost 14 years. So, when her health started to decline very rapidly over the last week, we both knew it was her time. She was telling me in her own way it was time to go. She never liked going to the vet, and I didn't want her last memory to be filled with stress and anxiety, that's when I found Dr.Sara. Booking the appointment was easy, I sent a text very late in the afternoon on Labor Day and Craig responded shortly thereafter. The appointment was made for the next day. My girl was laying by the front screen door enjoying the late morning when they arrived, she wasn't fazed by a stranger coming up to her - which she usually bolts. Dr.Sara was very quiet and calm, and my girl even let her touch and pet her, so not her personality. After several minutes of talking quietly and gently petting her, Dr.Sara gave her the first of 2 injections. She not only comforted my girl during this time but me as well, which I truly appreciated. Once my girl was sedated, Dr.Sara gently picked her up and moved her to our living room and gently laid her down on her favorite blanket. There she was given the final shot to which we were able to love on her while she quietly slipped away. After she was gone, Dr.Sara and Craig were just as gentle and caring for her body as when she was still with us. We have a lost a few pets over the years and I wish I had known about this sooner. It was a very calm, loving and peaceful passing. Dr.Sara was very sweet and empathetic to our feelings and really helped us through this difficult day. Thank you again Dr.Sara and Craig. read more

If you're struggling to make the painful decision of having your fur baby euthanized please allow me to help you. We had our German Sheppard mix Charlie for 15 years and couldn't imagine going to the vet, which Charlie absolutely dreaded, and having him take his last breath there would've broken my heart for the rest of my life. Dr Sara and Craig are heaven sent. From the appointment scheduling to the end, these tender, loving, calm individuals who helped us, didn't rush and took the time to let us have our last moments with our beloved family member. She first gave him a shot of pain medication which was such a relief for Charlie...you could tell he wasn't in pain any more and then let us decide when to give him his life ending shot. He never felt any pain and died in our arms. It was the hardest most grueling decision I've ever had to make. These people made that experience a beautiful memory rather than Charlie at the vets office. I should have made this review a long time ago because they made the passing of our pet an experience that we will be thankful for the rest of our lives. A million thank you's aren't enough. If you're struggling with the decision of euthanasia please call them...it's a life changing experience for the better with no regrets. I should mention that Dr Sara came to us on her day off. Thank you Dr Sara and Craig for a service like this. You both are a gift from heaven. read more

I cannot express enough how grateful I am for the compassionate care provided by Dr. Sara and Craig during one of the most difficult times in my life. Last Saturday, I had to say goodbye to my beloved 17-year-old Yorkie, Bella, and their kindness made an unbearable situation a little more bearable. From the moment they walked in, I could feel their genuine empathy and understanding. They treated Bella with such love and respect throughout the entire process, ensuring she was comfortable and at peace. Their sensitivity to my emotions did not go unnoticed; they were there to support me every step of the way, making sure I felt cared for too. The thoughtful gestures they provided, like the momentos and tulip bulbs to plant in Bella's honor, truly touched my heart. It's these small acts of kindness that made such a significant difference during such a heartbreaking time. Dr. Sara and Craig are truly angels sent straight from heaven. I feel so fortunate to have had them by my side on this difficult day. Thank you both for your incredible support and for handling everything with such grace. If you are facing a similar heart-wrenching goodbye, I highly recommend seeking their compassionate care. read more

After a year of doing everything we possibly could do to spare the life of our very special cat, Skooter, the day came when we had to make the difficult decision to help him go. We were dreading the day we would have to put him in the carrier, which was always a fight. Drive him a car, which was never an enjoyable experience for him. Put him on a cold table, to be handled by hands he was unfamiliar with. Even though he was the most loving cat we have ever had, a trip to the vet office was never a good day for him. We wanted his last day, to be a good day and that is what Dr Sara made possible for our Skooter. With the gentlest of hands she was able to help him go in peace while he laid on his favorite bench, with his head on my husbands lap, my son and I giving him love and the sun shining on his face. We are forever grateful to Dr Sara and the service Passing With Dignity provides. They truly understand how important these last moments are between pets and their people. Our furry companions will never have it any other way from here on out. read more

It's been a little over six months since we've said goodbye to our 4 legged family member "Buster" Dash wanted to write a review sooner, but it's just been so emotional for me. Was one of the hardest things I've ever had to do. That is why it has taken me till now to post this. I wanted to write this review. Sarah and Craig were the very best!!!! I think of them often in how great they were. As painful as it was to say goodbye to our Buster.... They were the most comforting, sincere, and genuine people. I did not know them prior the day I had to say goodbye to our Buster. They felt like family to me immediately!!! They were there to comfort me as I sobbed in my goodbye. As hard as this day was for me and my family... they made this day not a horrible memory but a day I can remember with love and peace in saying my goodbye. Thank you Sarah and Craig you will be in our hearts forever read more

Calling Passing With Dignity is literally the last thing you'd ever want to do for your pet, and you will be sad even when everything goes perfectly. But all that is by design. Dr. Sara Nadolski provides in-home pet euthanasia services with true compassion. We can attest to that, as she was one of our veteranarians for many years, and she's provided this much-needed service for us three times now. Dr. Sara will help you determine when "it's time", comfort your beloved pet -- as well as comforting you - and make sure the whole experience is as painless as possible. We once went to a "free" euthanasia service, but our dear cat was taken from us in his last moments and died with strangers. Never again! The entire experience is so much better in your own home where your pet is comfortable and your family is there to say goodbye. We highly recommend Dr. Sara Nadolski. read more

I'm beyond thankful to have found passing with dignity. I called and spoke with Craig about my old boy Louie and how sick he was at the time I called. Although Craig told me they were booked up for that day he called me back with some extremely valuable advice that helped my dog feel better and make it a few more days to allow myself and my family process the severity of the situation. Craig and Dr Sarah came to my house a few days later when we were ready to say our goodbyes, and in the most peaceful, calm way our Louie passed over the Rainbow to a better place free from pain. A beautiful card, charms to remember Louie by and sunflower seeds to plant was left, and made a terrible day the best we could have hoped for. read more

Dr. Sara and her husband Craig are as kind, compassionate and professional as one could possibly hope for. They arrived when they said they would (in spite of short notice) and greeted our yellow lab by name as they were both kneeling down and petting her. We were very fortunate to have found their website when we needed help. Dr. Sara kept her promise to us that this process will be calm and peaceful. Our hearts are broken after saying our good byes to the most precious yellow lab on this Earth, but we are so very grateful for Dr. Sara and Craig. Word of mouth is the best form of advertising; we will absolutely share their name with those who need help during this difficult time. read more

Having had to say good-bye to my almost 17 yo precious companion and best friend recently was devastating. I don't know how I would have gotten through this without the wisdom, compassion and gentle counsel of Dr. Sara and Craig. From my first phone call to them until the day that my dog took her final breath, they were my port in the storm. I had many questions and doubts. They patiently helped me work through all of them. I wanted to hold onto my girl forever and could not. But I am grateful beyond words to the two angels who came to our home and tenderly and peacefully released my sweet Ellie. Their humanity is something I'll never forget. read more

After spending 12 1/2 years with our beloved Giant Malamute, Brody, he no longer could stand and we knew the stress to try to move him would be far too painful for him. The empathy, compassion, gentleness, and care that Dr. Sara and Craig provided, allowed euthanasia services at home where Brody could painlessly pass with dignity with his family beside him. This is the second time we've utilized Dr. Sara for her services, and we will forever be grateful for her kindness and support during this very difficult time. We would give her 10 stars if we could!! read more

We were so fortunate and thankful to have Dr. Sara and Craig with us when we said our final goodbyes to our sibling Lab and Border Collie mix dogs, Roxy and Hurley. Our amazing dog had terminal cancer. We made a decision to let him pass before he got any worse. They came out and walked us through the process, explained every step, and confirmed our decision to give him the best send-off possible. It was a beautiful day in February. We gave him treats (that they provided) and sat with them while they eased him into a peaceful death. It has taken me this long to leave a review because it was so hard to let go of my all-time favorite dog! I couldn't have picked a better veterinarian to help us get through this. read more

We cannot recommend Dr Sara and Craig highly enough. Our beloved dog Stanley was able to cross over peacefully in his own bed surrounded by his family of humans and fellow pets. This is the third time we have used their service. They encourage you to pick a spot your pet is most comfortable. One of ours loved the spot by the mailbox, another under a tree in the yard and Stanley chose the living room. They explain everything and are never in a hurry. Thank you Dr Sara and Craig for making our loss more bearable. Vicky V. read more

I could not have asked for a more peaceful passing of my 15 year old Brody. Dr Sarah and Craig were so attentive and compassionate to every detail. Brody at the end would not even get out of the car if we went to the vet. I was so grateful to Dr. Sarah and Craig that I didn't have to. Dr. Sarah had this container of "charms" that you can pick from(one or several). That meant so much to me. I picked a tree of life that will represent Brody on my necklace of charms, which I love. Thank You Dr. Sarah and Craig read more
