Decadent and delicious Samosas with refreshing mango chutney.

The service was pleasant and gracious. My food arrived promptly. It's not fast food so keep that in mind probably waited 10 or 15 minutes tops but boy are these delicious.

Terrible customer service and unnecessarily long wait time. I ordered through the app which says the restaurant opens at 10:45am. Apple Maps says the same thing. Pickup time was 11am. At 11:04 the door was locked so I called. I had to call to get them to open the door and cut on the OPEN sign. I was then told my order would be ready in 10-15 minutes as they just got here and don't open until 11am. Annoying, but understandable. I walked back in at 11:20 and was told it would be another 10-15 minutes and they would call when ready. I watched 4 people walk out with takeout orders and a couple walked in and have already begun eating. It wasn't until I walked in again at 11:42 to check and saw multiple bags sitting that I finally got my order. Didn't even receive an apology for the wait. At this point, I don't plan on coming back.

Not good, how did they ruin the bread!

Food was not good. I was so disappointed. The only thing I can recommend is the samosa. Didn't dine in so cannot speak on the service. Food was ready fast for our takeout. Oh and I've never had band naan so idk how that happens. The naan tastes like they used oil instead of butter smh. I doctored it when I got home. Added butter, salt and garlic.

I don't normally post bad reviews but good is good and bad is bad and this was the worst! I was really excited to try this place because when I worked DoorDash I picked up a lot of orders from them . So imagine my disappointment when I received my order. I ordered tandoori chicken one of my favorite foods. But sadly my chicken was at least 3 days old and completely tasteless. It was as if they put red food coloring on it and baked it without seasoning last weekend. They also topped it with green peppers and white onions instead of red onions and cilantro. 0 out of 10 don't recommend.

I love this place!! Their samosas are top tier!! I once got the appetizer platter with the pakora but didn't love those, a little bland in my opinion. I've had the butter chicken here as well but I just love the Chana masala over that and I add extra vegetables. Their naan is amazing have to do the garlic, I'd eat here everyday if I could. They're only open for takeout and it's never too long of a wait for your food. I've never had any issues with them.

Amazing Indian spot in a small strip mall in front of UNC Charlotte. I used to come here before COVID for their amazing buffet, but since the buffet is closed and it's take out only, I haven't been in a while. I finally decided to do a pickup order and it ended up being so much food! I ordered the Shai Paneer, aloo palak, chicken makhani (butter chicken), Channa masala, lamb korma, 2 butter naan and 2 garlic naan with chutnies on the side. Each entree came with a container of rice. 4 of us ate and there was still so much leftover. I liked getting a variety of dishes and having some of each. It was a lot like the buffet. All the food was amazing. It came out fresh and hot. We ordered the spice level regular and it was good. Very flavorful but not spicy.

Indian is one of our favorite cuisines, but we haven't found a lot of Indian restaurants we really love in Charlotte. One of our Instagram friends recommended this to us and I'm so happy they did! Covid-19: you can order and pay online. They aren't open for dine in right now. They only let one person inside at a time to pick up food. I was really impressed with their setup. They aren't doing their special deals right now. Their lunch box looks like a great deal--two veggie curries, rice, and naan for $6. We got three curries: Shai Paneer, Malai Kofta, and Mutter Paneer. All were very good. The Shai Paneer was my favorite. I loved that the paneer was shredded. The Mutter Paneer was my next favorite. They weren't stingy on the paneer in this dish at all. The curry for the Malai Kofta was pretty good, but the Kofta balls were kind of dry and bland. Obviously we got naan too. We got an order of garlic naan and an order of onion kulcha. Garlic Naan continues to be my favorite. Nothing can beat it for me. This is definitely one of my favorite Indian places in Charlotte. If you like Indian food, go support them!

Terrible Tikki Masala was just tomato and water. Same with the tomato soup. Trying to cut costs at the foods quality .

It's alright. I should've went to Curry gate, but it's convenient. The price and quality don't match up.

The inside had enough seating for people and service was good. Although I think our server could have paid a bit more attention to us in terms of refilling our water. But it is a fairly chill atmosphere inside. We got the Gobi 65, Chicken 65 Boneless Biryani, Garlic Naan, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Mango Lassi. The Gobi 65 at mild spice still had a slight kick to it, but it was very flavorful! I really enjoyed it. The Chicken Tikka Masala tasted very buttery and not as spicy as I wanted it to be (asked for medium spice), so it makes me wonder if they accidentally gave me the wrong dish... like Butter Chicken? Otherwise, it was alright. Lots of bell peppers inside the dish and the chicken was cut into small pieces. The Garlic Naan was super garlicky which I loved and tasted great being dipped in the Chicken Tikka Masala. For the Mango Lassi, it came pre-packaged in this small bottle. It tasted fine, but not as sweet as I wanted it to be. My friend liked the Chicken 65 Boneless Biryani, which came in a massive bowl. Overall, I enjoyed the food here. Although I kind of want to get the Chicken Tikka Masala again and see if it tastes less buttery and more spicy next time. I would come back to try the other items on the menu!

Great colorful decor and a pretty outside patio area too. Ample parking which is also always key for me. The owner frequented our table after to make sure everything' was good and we enjoyed it, always love that. Means they genuinely love their place. The place was busy after we got there and had a lot of take out going . We went with a few different dishes. They have plenty of choices for vegetarian and meat eaters. Also have a full bar, beer, wine and cocktails. The vegetable Manchurian was nice and hot in temperature. Nice spice level too. Lots of veggies in the wonderful sauce. Yum. I had the chicken vindaloo which is my go to . Extra hot and served with basmati rice this had a great spicy sauce and plenty of chicken and potatoes in it. Definitely could share it or have another meal . The garlic naan was really good and fluffy and came straight from the tandoor hot. Also had the chicken tikka masala on the table. Mild spice level and good amount of spice and I love the color of everything. Food took awhile to come out but it's worth it. The owner also sent us over a plate of a spongy chick peas flour savory cake off the menu . Super nice ! Fluffy spicy cake . Delicious and so nice of him! I've had this at home before but this was a nice version of it. Had a great dinner here. Always nice to discover a new Indian away from home. They seem to have the business down pat.

When we moved to Charlotte I searched Yelp and bookmarked the three or four Indian restaurants that looked most promising. It's taken us a while to make our way up to Red Chillez because it's a little over 40 minutes drive from us, but we're glad we finally did - it's our favorite place that we've found here yet. We got the lamb vindaloo, lamb Rogan Josh, order of naan and rice, onion pakora, and samosas. The lamb was tender, and the flavor was great. The vindaloo was flavorful with a balanced heat, not just kick-your-teeth-in heat with no flavor. Service was friendly. The inside of the restaurant was casual, not a super fancy buildout, but clean and taken care of. We'll definitely be back - worth the drive.

But the mutton dum biryani from this restaurant happens to be hands down, the best one I have tasted outside of Hyderabad, India. Coupled with mirchi ka salan that gives you the authentic notes of what only few handpicked chefs in hyderabad could achieve. The taste of the biryani is consistent (I ordered same dish over 10 times now). It is not too spicy, which is good because it does not dominate the inherent flavor of the biryani. The mutton is cooked so well, that the pieces separate out even with gentle pressure. This is one dish that can truly take you back in time (and place). My review is for mutton biryani in specific.
