South Indian cuisine but not just vegetarian they also serve meat too…read more Located in a busy shopping center they have a nice patio and pretty big inside seating area with booths and tables. Service was good and they were very polite. There was something about this place that just didn't sit right. Not sure what it was. We all ordered dosas with different fillings. A south Indian staple. Crispy thing pancake type but paper thin stuffed with usually potatoes but here they had so many different things to pick from, eggs, cheese, chicken tikka, etc . I had a masala dosa which was traditional spicy potato filling served with chutneys and Dahl. Others on the table had the chicken tikka masala and the chicken keema which is ground chicken . They were all tasty. The Dahl dipping sauce was good. The chutneys also tasty. The dosa itself was very oily and didn't stay crispy like others I've had before. This was kinda disappointing and I didn't end up eating most of it because it was soggy. The filling was also nice and spicy. We all kinda felt that way about the dosas. Also had a plain naan, which was kinda flat not puffy and crispy, which makes me believe they don't have a tandoor to make naan like most places do. Shame really . We also tried the medu vada, served with Dahl to dip into also these are fried dough but spiced . They were ok. Nothing spectacular. Anyway they have a pretty extensive menu and seem to have a good take out business . Probably not a return here for me though.

It was unsweetened and strong like coffee. Naan is a la carte and doesn't come with anything. I ordered garlic naan and veggie biryani. I asked for small naan and was charged for medium. Food came out hot. Will come back to explore the market and meat market

Any city I go to, I eat at the local Indian restaurants and order biryani for sure. I tried…read morenumerous restaurants in several cities over the last 10 years. But the mutton dum biryani from this restaurant happens to be hands down, the best one I have tasted outside of Hyderabad, India. Coupled with mirchi ka salan that gives you the authentic notes of what only few handpicked chefs in hyderabad could achieve. The taste of the biryani is consistent (I ordered same dish over 10 times now). It is not too spicy, which is good because it does not dominate the inherent flavor of the biryani. The mutton is cooked so well, that the pieces separate out even with gentle pressure. This is one dish that can truly take you back in time (and place). My review is for mutton biryani in specific. Other items are good to great but this item is truly exceptional. Other items we order frequently: mirchi bajji, kebab platter, chicken 65, chicken biryani, goat sukka, kubani ka meeta, double ka meeta.

Title: Flavor Explosion on Wheels - Chaat Mahal is Street Food Heaven!…read more I'm SO glad I found Chaat Mahal Indian Street Food Trailer - this place is an absolute gem for desi food lovers! Every single item I tried was bursting with bold, authentic flavors that instantly reminded me of the chaat stalls back in India. Here's what I ordered: * Panipuri - perfectly crisp puris with spicy, tangy pani that packs a punch. * Dahipuri - cool, creamy, sweet, and spicy all at once. A total flavor bomb. * Masala Puri - comforting and savory, with just the right amount of heat. * Bhel - fresh, crunchy, and light - a great mix of textures and flavors. * Paneer Wrap - this one blew me away. Soft paneer chunks grilled with masala, wrapped in a warm roll - filling and absolutely delicious. * Mango Lassi - smooth, rich, and the perfect way to cool off after all that spice! The trailer is clean, the service is friendly and quick, and the vibe is just fun. You can tell they really care about quality and customer experience. Everything is vegetarian, and they have great vegan-friendly options too. Charlotte needed a spot like this. Whether you grew up with Indian street food or are trying it for the first time - you won't be disappointed. I'm already planning my next visit! Authentic flavors Great value Fresh ingredients Kind-hearted owners Chaat Mahal - you've got a fan for life!

Okay something is not right with this place. The reviews suggested something entirely different…read morethan what this disaster ended up being. We ordered pani puri, wada pav, dabeli and mango lassi. All of it SUCKED. The pani puri looked nothing like the photos from Google or Yelp, and lacked flavor as well as skimpy filling. The dabeli had NO pomegranate. I've never encountered a dabeli without pomegranate, neither did it have any flavor. Same story with the wada pav. Severely lacking garlicky goodness. The mango lassi was good, but cost a whopping $4 for a tiny 6oz serving. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw what a small cup it came in. The location of this place sucks, with every picnic table splintering and dirty, every table either had its own share of bugs (fire ants, flies, wasps, mosquitos) or was dirty, and add a serving of weed smoke from the nearby smoke shop. Service was also terrible. Their ordering system wasn't working, some of the things on their menu were not coming up on online ordering and the lady taking my order manually struggled with the system with the Square reader not working multiple times. They also don't accept cash so that's not an option either. We cane to this place with such high hopes and left disappointed.

We went on a Sunday evening. We had vegetarians and meat eaters in our group. So we ordered up a bunch of different dishes. They have a bar, didn't really dabble much in that except beer for the guys as it didn't look like they had much of what we like, also ample seating inside and interesting decor! Service was pretty quick and good comes out fresh. We had the Chinese bhel which was huge ! Lots of good fixings in this but good flavor little spicy little sweet. The veggie lettuce wraps had a bunch of veggies in it served With a whole head of lettuce, mild flavor but good crunchy veggies. The crispy chili potatoes were awesome. Flash fried potato sticks covered in spicy sauce. Yum. The pan fried fish was also one of my faves. Light Smokey flavor but nice thin batter and good amount of spicy sauce. With the onions and peppers mixed up on top this was a winner. The tandoori chicken momos were my least favorite. Not much going on here and they looked like they were sitting out awhile. Not as fresh as all the other dishes we had. Not much filling either. The vegatrian manchow soup was delicious. Full of flavor and a little kick. I still added some chili garlic sauce and that brings it to another level. Lots of little chopped veggies in this with a nice brown broth. We also had another dish which I don't remember the name of but had a nice sauce with peppers and onions and chicken served with rice . Maybe the hot garlic with chicken. Also a great flavorful dish with lots of sauce and hits all the tastebuds . All our dishes but one was finished . We really enjoyed all the sauces too. Chili garlic and the momo sauce were great add ons. Great place for a Asian fusion dinner or lunch .
