I originally got in touch with them last year to do some work and was very, very pleasantly surprised. Not to mention the price seemed almost too low, that's never a bad thing, especially in today's economy! Vincent from D'Ambruoso came out last year and again recently and as usual did fantastic work. He explained everything in simple terms for me and unlike some others we've worked with, I didn't feel talked down to. I was very pleased with their work and when we needed them to come back to the house, I didn't hesitate to reach out again. I left a message on their phone Sunday morning, got a text back later in the day, and provided them with all the info they needed. They had a quote for me by 8:30 Monday, were here by 9:30, and completed the job by 11:00. While the price was at the high end of my expectation, it was worth it as they were friendly, helpful, personable and efficient. I have already recommended them to several friends, and will use them for any future plumbing/heating needs.

He called me back about 10am from out of town but requested if he could stop by about "noon' time: and HE DID 1pm! He took one look and started taking his first of many trips to his truck and came back with a ladder and camera and found a leak at the 3 clock side of the connection. It was a very difficult repair. The steel ring holding the toilet was totally rusted out. But he had the tools in the truck . He not only had the tools in the truck he had all the parts to return the entire toilet to NEW CONDITION and rolled out at 2:45pm and I had a new toilet for HALF THE COST ANTICIPATED . I WAS STUNED. as a register professional engineer he exceeded my highest expectations . He knew what to do, how to do it, prepared to do it, and pleasant and friendly doing it. John looked me in the eye and told me he had never seen this problem, he'd have to do some research. He'd call a buddy who is an expert on this device and be back Friday AM. Come Friday, he walked in with a part and said that the buddy never returned his call, but this was the most logical problem. He replaced the part and things work perfectly now. Prior to John, I was told by a plumber that I had major work required that would cost a bundle. I found John to be very personable, prompt, honest, forthright and professional. He isn't afraid to tell you he doesn't know something and he is willing to research a problem. He saved me from going down an expensive rat hole. John will be my plumber until he retires!

Absolutely the worst company my wife and I have ever done business with. At the beginning of…read moreOctober they cam to our residence to install a 500# propane tank. They also ran 2 propane lines. One for our home and one for our generator. A couple days later they filled the tank. They informed us that they would not be able to make connections to the house or generator until November 13 as they had a full schedule. Today November 13. They show up and hook the propane to the house but did not connect the generator. I called the office to find out what was happening as they knew that they ran 2 lines. The office informs me that they needed to get a couple parts and the soonest they could return was mid January. Needless to say. We will be getting a new propane company that is competent I don't recommend Dead River to anyone that has to deal with the Bristol NH office.
