Honestly, I had been here before and thought that it was just meh. However, this experience was fantastic! I ordered the special which was a brussels sprout salad and added grilled chicken. It was fantastic! We all ordered different cocktails and they were delicious! We came with a larger group on a Saturday night, but the staff was on top of it.

Located next to the Myriad Hotel sits Paseo. What brought us here was the Bark Crawl hosted by PG&Js dog park bar and other places. It was $10 donation to the Arrow Fund for a Pawsport as it was called. My friend and I didn't know what to expect but, we had to collect stamps for all places to be entered a drawing for one of many gift baskets. Paseo was on that list. It's a very nice upscale restaurant and we both felt under dressed lol. Between Paseo and Myriad sits a very nice only 4 feet deep pool. We were very much wowed by the place and we did go inside the restaurant/bar and got our stamp. We weren't required to buy a drink at each place and we didn't here. Staff kindly stamped our Pawsport and didn't pressure us to buy anything. Will we back to try the food? Who knows. We were very impressed by the ambience of the place.

Love the rotating seasonal menu! Always fresh and delicious. We sat at the bar both times, service is great and the bartenders are super friendly. **Allergy conscious and accommodating**

Paella Sunday was a big hit! Cocktails started the night off right and we smoothly moved into dinner with a great salad course. The paella was loaded with lots of seafood, chorizo and chicken. The wine special was delicious and our server Gracie was on point! We finished with desert and pledged to be back! Great job Paseo!

My work has a dinner club and we came here one night and it didn't disappoint! I splurged and got a cocktail and my group had the wings and peach salads as apps. I ordered the pork chop, sangria, and the chocolate dessert. Delish! And even better I had a giftcard from an Apron chef in a box meal.

First time visitor. Cute little spot attached to hotel myriad. Service was excellent and was able to provide gluten free meal . Food carefully prepared and flavored nicely. Pleasantly surprised by the warm dates appetizer ! Very unique ! My son enjoyed the Steak Frites but needed more !

This is an interesting location, tucked away past the pool club in another building it feels almost like you're going to an exclusive club. The overall atmosphere/ambience is solid. As for food, most of what I tried was good. I ordered the Spanish Risotto, my spouse the linguine. We dined with other family and friends and most of us enjoyed our food for the most part. The risotto description suggests a protein add on of shrimp--which I ordered. However, my server came back shortly afterwards and noted that the shrimp was "bad" and therefore being tossed out. I subbed Italian sausage which wasn't bad. This was just after I ordered a "zombie dust" IPA (which I had been happy to spot on the menu, a beer I enjoy and haven't had in awhile)--which they were also out of. Considering there are only 2 beers on tap (and 1 cider), it seems like they perhaps should keep an eye on what is in stock. I opted instead for a bourbon--and I will credit them for (like many Louisville establishments) a large whiskey menu (and for solid, 2.5 or so ounce pours). The appetizers we ordered were all okay. All in all, I'd say this my experience was a solid 3 bordering on 3.5. I have a feeling it's usually a 4 ("great" in my book) and if you're in the right mood with the right order I can totally understand a 5 being in order ("perfect"). But given that they were out of so much early in the evening and the menu itself is fairly succinct, and that for the price point it's not quite "mind blowing", I reserve a higher rating for a better future experience.

My book club went to Paseo for dinner. It had a great vibe starting at the entry way all the way into the building. When we were handed the menus, we were confused because it didn't have many of the items that were listed on the menu online. We asked and were told that they now offer lunch, and the items we wanted are now offered on the lunch menu. We were disappointed, but the food we ended up with was good. I ordered the rigatoni and the group shared cannolis. Although we enjoyed the food, we all felt it was a little pricey.

We just moved to Louisville from Los Angeles, and didn't know what to expect. We walked by a few times and the architecture looked very cool, so we finally made a reservation. Came early on a Friday over a holiday weekend, so it was pretty quiet in the restaurant. Most folks were sitting outside by the pool but we chose to sit in the beautiful dining room. Service was impeccable, the Welcome Cocktail was perfectly spritzy, and apps were by far the stars--pickled strawberry salad and the hummus brûlée. We also loved the salmon entree and the chocolate budino for dessert. SO LOVELY. We will most definitely be back.

I came for dinner with a friend and loved the ambiance. This is a cool spot to go get a drink and chat with friends. The outside area is great for warm days. Our server was great and helped to recommend drinks and food. We got the hummus and ricotta balls for an appetizer. The hummus was good but needed a little more salt. The ricotta balls did not have a lot of flavor. You had to dip in the marinara sauce to get flavor. I got the fish special for my entree. It tasted fine but I felt like something flavor wise was missing.

I was able to score a visit recently on Derby Week, and that will be one of the highlights of Derby Week this year for me. We arrived shortly before our reservation time after hearing that our table was ready. I was seated at the bar, to be joined by my good friend a few minutes later. The cocktail menu sounded intriguing, and I started with an Oopsie Daisy and she sprung for Fighting Words. As we sipped our drinks, we perused the menu and decided on an array of mezze as our meal that night. Crispy cauliflower arrived first, followed shortly by tuna tartare, then whipped labneh and spring pea hummus. They even provided a gluten free pita option for the gluten sensitive in our party. Out of our choices, the cauliflower and the spring pea hummus were my favorites, although everything was very good. Throughout our meal, the staff was attentive and kept our waters full, cleared plates as appropriate, and made sure we didn't need anything else during our visit. Worth every one of its 5 stars, I think you'll enjoy Meesh Meesh just as much when you go, too!

MeeshMeesh Mediterranean…read more We had the most lovely night at MeeshMeesh tucked right into the heart of NuLu. From the second we walked in, it felt warm and welcoming, like being invited into someone's home for dinner. The space is intimate without feeling cramped, and we were lucky enough to grab a cozy window seat. It had that perfect hum of conversation where you feel the energy of the room but can still talk easily. Our waitstaff were incredible, thoughtful and genuinely kind in a way that made the whole night feel relaxed and personal. We started with an olive oil washed martini that was crisp, silky, and honestly just really good. A simple drink done beautifully. Then we decided to go all in and order the Shefa, Chef Noam's guided family style feast. You choose a main and then the kitchen takes you from there. Plates started arriving in waves and the table slowly filled with color and texture. The first taste included chamutzim pickles, fresh herbs and vegetables, matbucha, and labneh with za'atar. We added the tuna tartare, which was bright and fresh and such a nice contrast to the richness of the spreads. Everything invited you to tear into the warm pita and pass plates back and forth. The salatim followed with shawarma spiced chicken and crispy cauliflower, full of flavor but not heavy. It was the kind of food that makes you slow down because you don't want to miss anything. We shared a bottle of Chateau Musar Musar Jeune from Lebanon's Bekaa Valley, and it paired so beautifully with the warmth and spice of the meal. The star of the night was the lamb merguez with cucumber yogurt, dill, and pistachios, served alongside jeweled rice with pepitas and cranberry chutney. It was deeply spiced, comforting, and somehow both bold and cozy at the same time. It honestly felt like being wrapped in a hug. You could taste the care behind it. Dessert sealed it. Warm chocolate babka and coconut malabi with seasonal preserves. Sweet but balanced and the perfect way to end the evening. More than anything, what stood out was how personal the whole experience felt. Nothing about it felt trendy or forced. It felt rooted, intentional, and full of heart. You can sense there's a story and a family behind this food. If you're in Louisville, MeeshMeesh is truly special. Perfect for a celebration, a date night, or just a night where you want to sit at a table, share plates, and feel taken care of.

The person taking our order frustrated me, he seemed more interested in his phone and he didn't seem to want to help when he said the item I wanted from the menu was not available. Finally I just ordered salad and hummus with pita. But I didn't get any pita with it. I guess I should have checked before I left the place. So salad with no dressing that I could taste (and I don't like a lot but this was definitely lacking something) and couldn't eat the hummus yet until I go buy some bread. My family got chicken shawarma and lentil soup. It was mediocre. Kind of sad because I had high hopes for the place. It seems like it has potential with fresh ingredients and good menu options. The presentation of all the food was really good too. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day. I would try it again just to make sure because I loved the fresh ingredients and good presentation and it seemed like they had lots of repeat customers as we sat waiting for our order to be filled. All those things lead me to believe I may have caught them on an off day.

We were immediately served a small portion of lentil soup, which was warm and delicious. The menu is simple with plates and sandwiches. I ordered the gyro sandwich and small hummus. The hummus arrived quickly and was a good portion for the small. It was served with two half pitas, not nearly enough for a bowl full of hummus IMO. It was creamy but still had some depth. The pita was a bit dry. My gyro arrived next and it was a very large portion. It was served open, which I prefer, and was smothered in the tazeki sauce, lettuce, cucumbers and gyro meat piled on it. The meat was very good. After our meal we were served a small portions of sweet clove black tea. Sweet was an understatement, but it did help us warm up since the restaurant was a bit on the colder side. Overall a good meal.
