Park N' Ride - The not too popular Park n Ride is located at a prime spot in Manila. So what gives?

Passengers who are riding the buses or shuttles inside the terminal should be allowed to alight therein esp. that the passenger is a senior citizen. The cashier and the guards did not even allow us to alight the vehicle. Even though there is a so-called policy, this is actually made for the purpose of regulating the riding public, but this is not a license to discourteousness and disrespect to riding senior citizens.

If not for the handful of businesses renting the ground floor, this facility would be a total bust. So what happened here? The place was originally intended as the last stop of provincial buses as well as a terminal for the same buses taking passengers back to their home destinations. For some reason, the bus operators do not relish the idea of parking here. While there may be a few bus lines that use the parking building, for the most part it is empty. It can be put to better use, unless both the city and national governments find out why the operators prefer to park elsewhere. It's centrally located which is a good enough reason for provincial buses to use it. It may even be converted into a private parking for passenger cars, jeepneys or shuttles. I often ride the SM Manila to SM Bicutan shuttle, which uses the former as its de facto terminal. I see no reason why the shuttles don't use Park n Ride, unless the owners and drivers have safety concerns. The place does look kinda spooky, even during daytime.

As my pictures show there are several choices of food in this area. But none really jumped out at me. I chose to have the grilled marlin in spicy sauce with vegetables and rice. The fish is pregrilled and sitting out there. When ordered, they reheat the fish and pour the sauce over it. Their vegetables is from a frozen mixed vegetable bag. The dish was non appetizing and had a bland taste. Problem here is that the food here lacks freshness, flavor and taste.

It's as if they couldn't care less about their customers, especially the younger ones. I'm 16, and apparently, that means I'm not allowed in the mall without a guardian--on a weekend! How many times do people have to complain about the unprofessional behavior of the guards before something changes? The security staff act like they're on a power trip, treating teenagers like criminals just for showing up. News flash: we're not asking for much--just basic respect and fair treatment. It's 2024, and this mall still hasn't figured out how to treat its customers properly. If management can't be bothered to fix their security issues despite countless complaints, maybe they should rethink if they even deserve their customers at all

There are arcades, boba spots, cafes, archery, bakery class, digital art museum, nail salon, hair salon etc and even a sports arena that holds concerts too. We came across a couple of artists promoting music and there was a stage and sound set-up in one of the big spaces. I got to say though, the most recent time I came here I was very grossed out by the strong smell of the ice skating rink!!! It feels as if there isn't enough cleaning done on those ice skate rentals and it totally put off me and the rest of our group from entering in to see the prices. I don't remember the spot stinking so much pre-COVID so that's very unfortunate. It's across from one of the food courts in the mall too. You can eat food of various types!!! Food court options or literal restaurants. I definitely think coming here for two days is best but you can still explore a majority of the mall in one day. I like the security for checking bags upon entry when going into the different buildings. Expect a ton of banks, restaurants and stores. A BIG PLUS. If you are struggling to find a store, ask one of the security personnel inside. They immediately know the directions on where to go and were super impressive in their knowledge!!! The staff here in the Philippines are very courteous and professional. Always a good visit to come here especially to enjoy the AC also.

Seriously, where else can you get authentic Thai food for less than a hundred pesos? Sen Lek Thai in the foodcourt is one of the best Thai places I've tried. If you're more into Korean food, Arisoo is a restaurant towards the back that I was also able. My favorite though is the cold taho at one of the Japanese groceries here, I forget the name. It's basically cold taho with toppings of your choice, for around fifty pesos for a big bowl. It's my secret pick me up. Don't tell anyone, okay?

It's not a market in the usual sense. I haven't seen any wet produce like meat or fish, though I'm sure there's an area in there somewhere. What I have seen are stores selling clothing - mostly overruns or surpluses of major brands, stores selling shoes, stores selling appliances, and stores selling miscellaneous items like mason jars and the like. You also have, of course, the pet center, and the SM supermarket. The best part, I think, are the foreign groceries where you can get Japanese or Korean ingredients dirt-cheap.

It's near high street so yes, it won't be a hassle at all. It's quite easy to park your car because the space they allot for each car is pretty big! So don't worry about it. What's a bit tricky is that workers who work the 8-5 job can't really Park here anymore for the whole day. If I'm not mistaken you will be charged around 300 for a whole day. So if i were you, you should definitely find a better and cheap place if you need to park more than 3 hours. You can opt to park if it's just for a short time. And what's nice about here is that it's covered so you don't need to go through muddy floors when getting to your car.

Products are either locally made items to luxury brands from all around the world. From perfumes, cologne, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions. It was a little hard for me to sample something then move on to the next fragrance counter as there is so much to see all around the mall. What was most important is that the Foreign Exchange Counter was found on the Men's Floor of the department store. It was operated by BDO Bank and they offered a very competitive exchange rate. Also In the basement of the mall, you'll find SM Supermarket. They will have all your household items, snacks, food items, anything you forgot to pack for your trip such as toiletries.
