Spot was easy to find even during peak hours, and the security guys were super attentive; one even helped direct me into a tight space. Car felt totally safe the whole time with guards constantly walking around. Yeah, the hourly rate after the first two hours adds up quick (ended up paying around ₱360), but honestly for the convenience of being right in Salcedo Village and not having to circle forever looking for a spot, it was worth every peso. Clean, organized, and open-air so no weird basement vibes. Will definitely park here again when I need to be in the area all day. 5 stars for reliability and peace of mind.

Indeed, the problem is not on the availability of parking slots, but rather on finding one that's reasonably priced. Anyway, one popular parking lot in the area is Paseo Center Parking. This is an open-space lot but you can be assured that your vehicle will be safe because security is pretty strict. Roving guards are present all the time. The parking lot is also open every day. The only downside to this place is its rates. If you park here on a Sunday, you only pay a flat rate of PHP 50.00. But from Mondays to Saturdays, rate for the first two hours is PHP 40.00. This is fair if you just stay within the allotted time. But staying longer than two hours could cost you an arm and a leg because you'll be charged an additional PHP 40.00 for every succeeding hour and a fraction thereof. One Saturday, my brother parked there for around nine hours and he had to pay more than PHP 300.00!

Sadly, Hooters has already closed down, only to be replaced by another bustling restopub called Treehouse Tavern. In terms of restaurants, cafes, and bars that have set up shop in the mall, one can say that the place is indeed an A-level venue for cool happenings in town or relaxing eat-outs with family and friends. The mall's close proximity to the famous P. Burgos Street make it an ideal watering hole for local and foreign tourists booked at surrounding hotels. Even office workers from the Central Business District flock to A. Venue to wind down from a busy day or to celebrate paydays. Lately though, I have found myself lured to the place by the Night Market set in what used to be the mall's front open parking area. The place features numerous stalls selling affordable Banchetto-style food. People can sit and dine in a spacious tarpaulin-covered area and get to watch a free band show, too. Parking can be found here, but I don't suggest you drive in Manila as traffic can be mentally exhausting. If you have a driver, he will know exactly where to park at SM. The Store is filled with everything you need for yourself, your home, your family, friends, pets. SM is growing with products it's unbelievable! Products are either locally made items to luxury brands from all around the world. From perfumes, cologne, shampoos, conditioners, body lotions. It was a little hard for me to sample something then move on to the next fragrance counter as there is so much to see all around the mall. What was most important is that the Foreign Exchange Counter was found on the Men's Floor of the department store. It was operated by BDO Bank and they offered a very competitive exchange rate. Also In the basement of the mall, you'll find SM Supermarket. They will have all your household items, snacks, food items, anything you forgot to pack for your trip such as toiletries. I honestly can't remember which floor it was, but there is a wing that connects you from SM to Glorietta Mall. It's the floor where one of the coffee shops were located either 2F or 3F. Happy shopping!!!

Other brand stores are there too. I can go on and on. This will have most of what your looking for all in a multi level SM mall. The whole vibe is relaxed yet polished, and the Christmas lights this year are stunning without being over-the-top. Felt like a nice treat after a long week. Definitely five stars for me.

It even has a Roman Catholic chapel called the Chapel of the Sacred Heart of Jesus. I was interested in visiting this venue because, as the name suggests, this structure was once (literally) a power plant. After the power plant was decommissioned, the structure and land were reimagined. It should be seen as part of a master planned development. It also caters to some adjacent, legacy, high-end communities. This location provided an opportunity for me to people watch; examine products and brands unfamiliar to me; and to price compare goods in the PHL, versus back home. A must-visit retail and lifestyle destination -- Glorietta Mall, Ayala Center…read more Glorietta Mall in Makati's Ayala Center is hands-down one of the most impressive and comprehensive shopping destinations I've ever experienced. This isn't "just a mall" -- it's a true lifestyle hub where every visit feels like an adventure rather than a quick stop. From the moment you enter, you realize how massive and thoughtfully organized it is. The complex is divided into five distinct sections (Glorietta 1 to 5), each with its own vibe, tenant mix, and experiences to explore -- which explains why I literally got lost both times I visited trying to take it all in. Shopping & brands: Glorietta delivers an extraordinary range of stores -- from everyday necessities like grocery and hardware offerings to spacious department stores and high-end Western and European retailers. You'll find international fashion brands, lifestyle shops, tech stores, and accessories galore. Glorietta's blend of well-known global brands alongside local favorites makes it appealing for both serious shoppers and casual browsers. Dining & experiences: It's not just about retail -- the mall has an extensive food scene, with eateries ranging from casual cafés and food courts to sit-down restaurants. Whether you're craving coffee, a quick bite, or a serious meal, there's a wide selection of options to satisfy every palate. Entertainment & lifestyle: Beyond stores and food, Glorietta also offers entertainment like cinema screens, gyms, arcades, and large activity centers that frequently host events and seasonal attractions. Design & accessibility: The layout can feel like a city inside a city -- with multi-level retail, integrated walkways to nearby malls like Greenbelt and department stores like The Landmark, and even connections to public transit via Ayala Station. It's a bustling, walkable environment that's well-maintained and feels safe thanks to visible security presence throughout. Atmosphere: The overall vibe is lively but clean and modern, with plenty of open space, seating areas, and wayfinding signage to help orient you (especially useful if you do get turned around like I did). Despite its size, the mall feels welcoming and dynamic -- perfect for shopping sprees, people-watching, or just killing time in style. Bottom line: If you're in Makati and enjoy malls that combine world-class shopping, diverse dining, entertainment options, and thoughtful design, Glorietta is an absolute standout. Even after multiple visits, I still feel like I've only scratched the surface of what this place has to offer -- and that's exactly the kind of experience you want from a destination mall.

There is also a Cinema on 4F. Security guards everywhere for your safety. I frequented this mall as a week visitor because it was literally downstairs from my hotel. The Ascott Makati is situated right on top Glorietta 4. You can easily come here to meet friends and family at any eatery. It's a great meeting spot something easy for anyone around the Metro to find a place to share a meal or coffee. There is a food court on the top floor, many bars and restaurants, and it's less formal than going out to a fine dining restaurant. You can sit back after a day of sightseeing or just relax while strolling around or whatever you would like while on leisure. For those who work in the CBD of Makati, going for a happy hour drink or dinner with your office mates after work before heading back home in the Manila traffic.
