When I first started looking for a realtor, I reached out to several people and honestly didn't hear back from many of them. Then I found Priscilla. She responded within hours, and from that first conversation, I could tell she was different--present, thoughtful, and genuinely caring. She came in and was very honest with me. The house had a lot of deferred maintenance, and going the traditional route would mean a lot of decluttering, cleanup, and work before even getting it on the market. At that point in my life, I already had a lot on my plate, and the thought of taking all that on felt incredibly heavy. Then, just a couple of days later, she called me with another option. She had reached out to her network of investors and found multiple buyers who were willing to purchase the home as-is, for cash, with a quick escrow. I can't overstate the relief I felt in that moment. It was like a huge weight lifted off my shoulders. From there, Priscilla handled everything. She coordinated the showings, worked hard to get me the best possible deal, and stayed on top of every step of the process. Of course there were a few bumps along the way, but what stood out most was that she never disappeared--she was always there, steady, responsive, and reassuring. During a time that felt stressful and emotional, she brought a sense of calm and made me feel like everything was going to be okay. We're closing today, and I'm incredibly grateful. Looking back, the value she brought to this process far outweighed anything I could have expected. She didn't just help me sell a house--she helped me get through a difficult chapter in a way that felt manageable and supported. I truly appreciate her and would wholeheartedly recommend Priscilla to anyone who wants not just a great realtor, but someone who genuinely cares. In a process that could have felt overwhelming and lonely, she made sure I never felt like I was going through it alone.

5 Stars - A Dream Experience from Start to Finish!…read more After owning my home for nearly three decades, I finally made the decision to sell--and I cannot say enough good things about Craig Strong and his incredible associate, Carolina Sandoval. From the moment I brought Craig into the picture, everything changed for the better. I had spoken to Craig a few times over the years when I was casually testing the market, but this time I was serious. Initially, I had another agent, someone I liked personally, but something felt "off." I decided to reach out to Craig--not expecting him to take on my listing, as I assumed my home might be too modest for his portfolio. To my surprise, he immediately responded with sincerity and enthusiasm, offering a real interview to confirm he was the right person and company for my listing. That set the tone for the entire experience. From our first conversation, Craig was honest, direct, and incredibly professional. He reviewed my pricing, told me my home was "cute" (which I appreciated), and gave me realistic advice on potential wiggle room. At the same time, I was seeing inconsistencies and dishonesty from my previous agent--misrepresenting who was bringing buyers, allowing access to my home without being present, and repeatedly denying it until caught. Those red flags led me to make a change. I interviewed three real estate professionals. What made Craig stand out wasn't just his reputation--it was his integrity, his deep knowledge of the Toluca Lake area, and his commitment to doing the work himself. He didn't just refer me to service providers--he handled it. He arranged for my home to be measured, professionally photographed, and listed quickly. And unlike other agents who pushed expensive staging packages, Craig assured me my freshly painted, updated, move-in-ready home would shine on its own. He was right. Within a month, I had two serious offers back-to-back. We countered, secured an all-cash offer at full asking price, and closed escrow in two weeks. I was paid promptly, and the new buyers are already moving in. Throughout the process, Craig and Carolina were communicative, supportive, and classy. Every step was handled with grace and precision. What I appreciated most was that Craig listened--he understood how much I loved my home, and he respected that I wanted the right buyer to love it, too. If you're thinking of selling your home, especially in the Toluca Lake or Studio City area, don't hesitate--Craig Strong is the gold standard. He and his team made what could have been an emotional and stressful experience truly seamless and successful.

So I decided to look into using an apartment broker, to take some of the burden off myself and let a professional handle things instead... After looking at a few different firms online, I got good vibes from The Rental Girl (TRG), a boutique real estate agency here in Los Angeles, that also handles apartment searches. I liked the fact that the company is on the smaller side (around 20 or so employees, I believe), so that you really get their full attention. And for me personally, it was also a big plus to support a women-owned business. For apartment searches, they offer a couple of options: 1) You can sign up on their website to access listings on your own. or... 2) They also offer a concierge service, where they take inventory of your specific needs and wants and then do a customized search for you, which includes setting up walk-thrus, handling paperwork, and basically taking charge of all the less-fun aspects of looking for a new apartment. Their concierge service is made up of a team of people who each cover a different area of Los Angeles. For the area I was looking in, I was assigned a terrific, friendly dynamo named Itza Campos. She took great care of me every step of the way, serving as a sounding board (and even a therapist at times, lol) as we considered various apartments, before landing on just the right one. It was a true pleasure working with her and I really can't thank her enough for all the help she gave me! TRG concierge service isn't inexpensive -- it's equal to the price of one month's rent on your new apartment -- but I have to say that I consider it money VERY well-spent. Itza made the whole process fun and basically painless. I would recommend The Rental Girl without hesitation for anyone who wants help in finding the perfect place to live. Thanks again to the great team at TRG, especially Itza!
