While they mainly publish books for local authors (short stories, poems, fiction and non fiction), they were open on art night giving away free books (pre-prints), had a kids activity (making a super hero mask), and had the author of one of their books teach folks about how to make homemade tortillas and try out organic tequila. While I was bummed that they don't actually press the books here (done in Chicago), as a non-author I enjoyed checking out their exhibit on the process of book publishing including cover design and other cool art night activities and will keep them in mind if we ever need to rent space

Wow! I have had the worst experience with this business. I am trying to file for a DBA, and this…read morecompany cannot follow through with what they are saying. I spoke with a gentleman who tried to assist me, but maybe should have just referred me over to the correct department, because my paperwork was missing information that he did not know about. Once I was able to get ahold of the correct department after two tries, which shouldnt be that hard. Time is money people. I finally spoke with Mic, who was more focused on her needs than mine. I have been trying to file my DBA through this company for about 2 weeks now. And instead of them accommodating to me (the paying customer) I instead am accommodating to them. I just can't believe they expect me to pay them for this. I called them ready to work and get things accomplished. I don't feel that is reciprocated. I shouldn't have to ask you do do your job and follow up with you. I will because I take my business and others seriously, but this is no where near a company I want to do business with. They have set my plans back!!!

Working with Liv on my social media presence made a huge difference for my non profit business…read more Among many things, she helped me plan out my instagram grid, sync my social media across platforms, create visually appealing posts, and stay consistent. Working with her I literally built my brand. Before working with Liv, I was posting irregularly and tbh got stressed by the whole process of social media. But learning how to schedule posts, getting help with drafting captions, and making a PLAN allowed me to truly speak about my brand in a consistent- yet authentic - way. Also, she guided me on how to engage with other companies and individuals in a meaningful way that felt true to myself and not cheesy. I am not sure how many followers I gained by working with her but it was definitely over my goal. More importantly, she made sense out of social media marketing for me, which previously I'd been really daunted by. I use her techniques to this day, every day, and she is always happy to answer my calls if I have small questions. I really appreciate that and know it's not something every business offers. My company is a side-project from my real job, so I don't have a ton of time to work on it or invest in it, but I'm so happy that I made the investment with Liv and her team to learn social media 101.

I've dealt directly with Mike who's an incredibly nice guy and is an expert at his trade. He's great at meeting production deadlines, giving recommendations and delivering orders on time. They do everything from posters, flyers, even toilet paper...you name it. They work with big companies and are always upgrading their printing equipment. This is a family-owned business that gives personalized service. I even used them to print my wedding invitations. I simply showed them a sample that I saw on the internet and they were able to source the paper for me and make the necessary adjustments to the artwork. The printing quality was top-notch. The prices are pretty reasonable too. I got my biggest surprise when they printed my wedding 'thank you' cards for free! I hope to work with them again in the future.
