Always been a fan of this place for years, it has gone over multiple ownership changes but today lost my business. I can understand an automatic tip on a large party of 6+ or even 8+... it was two of us. They automatically added 21% tip on the bill without asking me or notifying me; bill was $94 for two appetizers and two entrees but he charged me $114 which I thought was odd. They then proceeded to give me the bill to add ANOTHER CUSTOM tip. Luckily I noticed he charged me significantly more. I have never had that happen anywhere else in the world. If you go here make sure you keep an eye out, but in my opinion that lack of principle and honesty loses business. I will be telling everyone I know to go elsewhere. read more

Honestly, this place is really good! The photos seemed promising so we decided to give it a try and were pleasantly surprised! They have outdoor seating as well. The shrimp satay were delicious especially with the brown sweet sauce it came with. Both our drinks were super sweet but I liked it that way. The Thai iced coffee had a nice chocolate flavor to it too. The pad Thai was perfectly sweet and came with a lot of large shrimp. The panang curry was delicious too! I have had 2 bad experiences a year apart. After the first one did not order for a while. I decided to give them a second chance. Still a bad experience. The 2nd time it was a take out order placed online and picked up in person. Taste: 4/5 Portions: 1/5 Price: 2/5. - Food taste is good. - Food is overpriced for what you get. - The dinner entrees are lunch size portions and come in small containers. Not enough for one person. - Rice containers are tiny. Extra rice is $3 per small container - Automatically add a $5 tip to online orders. Make excuses if the customer asks for the tip to be removed when pointed out that the tip is at customers discretion. I will not be ordering again. Avoid this place. read more

Terrible. If I could give a review in the negatives, I would. It took a while for our order to be taken while there was only 1 other table. On top of that, the food I ordered was not at all what they explained on the menu. Due to that, as well as it tasting bad, I sent it back. Time comes when the check comes, and it is still on our bill. No more than one small piece of chicken was missing (as it straight up just looked like porridge with "brown gravy" ((that's how they explain it on the menu)). Really wish I had read the reviews before having to deal with this place. I pass this place almost every day and finally stopped to try it last week, and I'm glad I did! I had the crispy basil beef and the spicy calamari. Bottom line up front: this was the best calamari I have EVER had. I've had tons and tons of calamari, and nothing even comes close. The spice level, the crispness, and the portion sizes were all *chef's kiss.* I also really enjoyed my Thai iced tea and crispy basil beef. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars instead of 5 is that the beef was pretty salty, but still delicious. First time trying this place and thought the ambiance was quite nice. Menu also looked exciting, but I can't say the same on the quality of food. I'm a big lobster fan so was super excited to get the Pad Thai with the grilled lobster tail. When it came it had a bad seafood smell to it. It also taste HORRIBLE, rubbery tough texture without any fresh lobster taste. It was also not much meat in there by the time I was able to scrape it off the shell. I believe it was a frozen tail, because I had bought some frozen tails from Lidl just last week and they had the same tough texture and bad taste. I didn't ask about the price before ordering it because I wanted the lobster tail, but didn't expect an added frozen tail on some stir-fry noodles at a whopping $32. We also ordered the duck roll with the paratha wrap, which was too greasy without much duck meat in it, and it was also just two pieces at $12. Yum! Had the Crab Soup and Panang Chicken Curry. Thought the soup might have coconut, but it didn't. Just a sweet and sour broth with crab. Fresh and real, but not savory. The Panang was OMG so good. I really wanted to have leftovers but I couldn't make that happen. The kind of Curry that is not too thin not too thick. Loved it. And the the rice was glutinous and amazing! Let me start by saying that we had to wait for over an hour to get our order. We ordered pork pad thai and veggie drunken noodles. I understand it was a Friday night and it was crowded but that's just ridiculous and the waiter was not apologetic at all. This is my order out Thai place in the area. I order through door dash from them weekly. The food has always been great. I usually get the veggie fried rice with no egg and no broccoli. It comes with tomatoes, carrots, lettuce, snow peas, baby corn and scallions. It's not oily and not dry- they use just the right amount of oils and spices. The drunken noodles come with your choice of beef, chicken, pork or seafood. The summer rolls were ok. Pasa Thai has decent Thai food. The Thai Iced Tea was good and not too expensive. The vegetable dumplings were also ok with a slightly spicy sauce. Naturally, I tried the Pad Thai for the main and it was a little on the spicy side and nothing too special. I was just not impressed with it and I have yet to find a Thai restaurant that beats Bangkok Bistro in Georgetown. I would only give it 2 stars, except a friend got the "Chicken Pineapple" but with fried tofu instead of chicken. This was actually really good! I don't even like tofu and it tasted amazing. I've only been here once but it was a yummy experience. I ordered the special which is Rockfish with spicy lime sauce ($22). I've been looking for a Thai place that has this dish, and it was absolutely delicious. It was a pretty large piece of Rockfish cooked perfectly with the sauce that had the right amount of spice. I hate when some places give you a whole head of broccoli cut into just 4 pieces. -Crispy Duck Curry - Amazing flavor!
