I hope that this is not true because I love wandering around Party City and looking for stuff to add to my ever-growing collection of costumes ;) Around Halloween is obviously when it is most fun, as that's when they bring out their new costumes for the season. They also liquidate the previous year's models. I've gotten full costumes for as little as $4.99, although the sale ones are usually in the $9.99-$14.99 range, which sure beats paying the regular prices of $59.99+. Their post-Halloween sales are pretty good too. I like their huge selection of themed eyewear. Super Mario sunglasses (complete with mustache suspended by chains from the lenses), flamingo glasses, Minion goggles, they have it all. Also if you are planning a party, they have everything you need. All milestone birthdays have numbered paraphernalia, weddings, engagements, retirements, from napkins to balloons, you'll find it at Party City. I find that this location has slightly less selection than the one on Cyrville, but it's still great. Lots of free parking in the plaza.

Oh, and I also picked up some sweet Avengers party cups because I'm cool. This place has aisles upon aisles of amazing party supplies from theme parties (Hawaiin, Bachelorette, Baby and Bridal Showers, Graduation, Anniversary, and on and on!) and tons of paraphernalia for kids birthday parties. Surprise? It's all at super reasonably priced! Behind the front cash is a massive wall of balloon choices and a lovely cashier who somehow manages to know where everything is (no kidding - she found me 3 paper fans with an aquatic theme). You can also find awesome party hats, wigs and costumes. I walked out of here with a million party ideas and a spring in my step. It's very similar to Party City, which I think has more locations. They have lots of different types of mylar balloons and stuff for any themed party you can imagine, like retirement, wedding, graduation, even a luau party, and of course all milestone birthdays, or regular birthdays for that matter. They also have Halloween costumes and where they are better than Party City in my opinion is in the footwear section. I even spotted some shoes from Funtasma (ok, I didn't just spot, I also purchased, haha). They didn't have a huge selection, but a few styles. They also have great Halloween accessories. This Party Mart is in Fairlawn Mall (the strip mall across the street from Carlingwood Mall). Same strip mall as Trailhead, Bulk Barn and Shoppers Drug Mart. Lots of free parking.

The most convenient part about this location is it is close by to my residence. The selection at Party City is very great because there is a great variety of cool accessories and costumes. The value at this location was good and my only critique is you lower the prices on some of the costumes and accessories. For the reasons I have stated in this review, I highly recommend you consider visiting this location.

Disney Princess party? I'm good. Superheroes? Oh yeah! Fairy Tales? Pirates? Steampunk? Check, check and check, lol. Party City is an awesome place to pick up Halloween costumes! Their regular priced costumes are on the pricey side but they have great sales. I got a Strawberry Shortcake costume there for $4.99! And it came with a mini hat fascinator and socks (in addition to the dress). You can't even get regular socks alone for $4.99 nowadays! Truth be told, I already had a Strawberry Shortcake costume, but the hat that came with it was a bonnet that looked like a shower cap. Mini hat fascinator is totally more my style, so I actually bought the second costume more for the accessories, but the accessories alone would be more than $4.99 at other places like Spirit Halloween, Monster Halloween, etc. Anyway, Party City is my favourite place for Halloween costumes. They are also awesome for party supplies. They have so much themed stuff. All milestone birthdays, retirement, bachelor/bachelorette parties, graduation, wedding, etc. They also have tons for items for kid's parties including party favours. And lots of mylar balloons. Some items are quite reasonable in price and some items are on the expensive side, in my opinion. I usually just buy stuff that's on sale or clearance, haha. Staff are nice and helpful. This Party City in Orleans does not seems as spacious as the ones on Cyrville or on Merivale, but it's still pretty good and I've gotten some great deals here. I love costumes and am always looking to add to my inventory, so I love just poking around Party City especially around Halloween. At the beginning of Halloween season they tend to clear out the previous year's models of costumes, so I've gotten sales before Halloween. And of course, after Halloween there's a big blowout sale as well. They have a lot of items in-store that are not on their website, so definitely worth an in-person visit. They have lots of party supplies as well, but I just go there for the costumes. They do have lots of party favours for kids and lots of themed items like Disney Princesses, Dora the Explorer, Paw Patrol, etc. They also have a great selection of PEZ dispensers, for any collectors, lol.
