There was only one other kid and his adult in this room. Other kids were at the establishment but they were in day camps. My first impression was that the room smelled strongly of stinky feet. But the kids wanted to play in AC as it was HOT outside, so I held my breath When we tried the arcade games, half of them took our money so we gave up. They did get two to work and were able to get a "prize" but still dissapointing. To be fair, there did seem to be other play structures and water play outside but I think that it was either for the camp kids only, or it cost more. I could have asked, but my two were over it. It might just be for younger kids. For the price, I probably won't bring my daughter back.

THE WORST EXPERIENCE…read more The person we worked with , Kim Tran ,promised so many things but in the end Wink Design & Events just collected our wedding event down payment and then gave us excuse after excuse as to why she couldn't deliver. Deciding on Wink Design and Events to be our wedding planner was the best decision we ever made for…read moreour wedding. Kim Tran with Wink was the first wedding planner we met and we ended up booking with them immediately. She really took the time to get to know us, understand our vision, and guide us in blending our two different cultures perfectly into one wedding. Kim, Hien, and Christina absolutely made our dream wedding happen, and it was better than we could have ever imagined. These women are the best of the best in their industry- creative visionaries in their field, personable, and always go above and beyond a client's expectations. Even with our work schedules, they were always flexible with meeting dates, incredibly responsive, and remained extremely professional the whole time. We were absolutely blown away when we walked into our reception. The entire décor and organization of the weekend was incredibly cohesive and perfectly executed- so many guests have said that this was one of the most beautiful weddings they have ever attended, and it was all because of Wink, and for that we can never thank them enough. New Orleans is so fortunate to have these exceptionally talented ladies locally. We appreciate them so much and would wholeheartedly recommend them to any future brides. Wink is what wedding dreams are made of!

I wish I could get re-married at the Balcony Ballroom once a year. I got married there in March of…read more2023, and my guests have raved about the Balcony for over 6 months now. From, "That was the best wedding I've ever attended," to "Omg the food was delicious and never stopped!" everyone had only excellent things to say. I am not a DIY person, and planning a destination wedding where over half my guests were traveling from out of state was stressful enough. I knew I needed a venue that would take care of everything for us. And did they ever! From the ceremony seamlessly transitioning into the reception, to the lighting and music, to our own "non-traditional" ideas throughout, I cannot believe how perfect the day went. Mike was more attentive than my maid of honor!! He re-bustled my dress on the dance floor, kept our specialty drink that the Balcony made just for us flowing all day, and didn't let anyone get out of their seat until we took all the group pictures during our song. We had a brass band come in at the end & our guests went wild for them! Tip for anyone planning to get married here on a budget - choose a date on Sunday, and you will get your photographer, DJ, and a whole package thrown into their specialty pricing. The bananas foster was amazzzzzingggggg!!! Thank you so much, to everyone at the Balcony Ballroom for one of the most memorable and beautiful days of my life!!
