Today, I returned the tables I rented for Saturday and had the opportunity to talk with one of the…read moreowners. She was very friendly, and even though she recognized me from my initial review, she was patient enough with me to explain what happened during my first visit. I explained that the prices for the tables had changed from 6.95 to 8 she pointed out that the table prices on her website were the same as those she had charged me. (They were 6.95 on the website the last time we had reviewed them before the rental.) When I explained that I couldn't find the terms she pointed to her website and under the "About" tab were the terms and conditions. She also placed another hyperlink at the bottom of a 30 plus list of hyperlinks on her main page. And again under quick links at the bottom of the page. She also pointed out that her website is under construction and apologized that it wasn't clear. It should be noted that the Credit Card surcharge is for "over-the-phone" transactions and we did ours face-to-face so there shouldn't have been any surcharge. Because of her customer service, I felt obliged to add another star to the review. But until we can come to an agreement about the surcharge and the website is updated to be made more clear, I can't give the establishment three stars.

I would give this company 6 stars if possible. I needed chairs and tables delivered to a tiny…read morechurch and cemetery in Willis Texas. It was for my father's funeral, and I only gave Durami a little over a day's notice. I don't know for sure, but this seems to be a family-run business. Whether or not that's true, everyone with whom I dealt was consistently professional, clear about requirements and expectations, and compassionate about the circumstances. Their website platform for payment and invoicing made the transactions easy. The guests at Dad's funeral even asked me to review Durami and give them the highest rating. The chairs and tables were delivered on time (even though the church's address is vague....basically a crossroads in the countryside). The chairs and tables themselves looked lovely...a cut above normal folding chairs and tables. And when asked, Durami's staff returned early to pick up the items so guests didn't have to wait around in the heat. Please, patronize this company. They will exceed your expectations. They exceeded my expectations and made a difficult day so much easier on me and my friends and family.

We had never booked a water slide before; we chose Boogie Bounce based on location and the kind of…read moreslide we were looking for. We booked "The Pool Party" 20 ft water slide, and also the backyard-play Connect Four game. Booking the slide was easy on their website. Their rules were easily understood on their website, and the requirements for the slide (area size, area conditions, items needed) were well explained, so that we knew we had the space and the required items (grassy area, enough room, water hose, outlet, etc.). Everything went very smoothly. Communication was great. Delivery and pickup went great. We had a total blast.

I booked Boogie Bounce Houston for my daughter's 3rd birthday--a Minnie Mouse 6-in-1 water slide,…read moretables, chairs, and a cotton candy machine--expecting a smooth experience. Their own terms clearly say, "We will call or text you with a delivery time the day before the event. We will give you a 1-2 hour delivery window... Our routes are planned to ensure every order is delivered and setup on time." That turned out to be COMPLETELY FALSE. Despite a text saying delivery would be between 11 AM-1 PM, no one showed. NO call. NO update. I had to chase them down, and the rental finally arrived barely 15 MINUTES before the party started. The driver was polite but didn't know how to operate the cotton candy machine because, as he said, "I'm just the delivery guy." The worst part was speaking with Kirk, the manager. He was DISMISSIVE, RUDE, and completely UNPROFESSIONAL. He cut me off, said, "You're upset even though you enjoyed the rental and had your party," and HUNG UP on me before I could respond. He confirmed a partial refund--$51.75 back to my card in a few days and $23.75 via Zelle--which honestly felt ODD for a business. While I appreciate the refund, a SIMPLE APOLOGY for the stress this caused would have meant FAR MORE. I actually wanted to post this review the night of my daughter's party, but I chose to wait until the refund processed to give them the benefit of the doubt. As a Black woman, I was deeply ASHAMED of how Kirk carried himself and how this reflects on the business. I truly hope he's held accountable because situations like this are exactly why people hesitate to support small, minority-owned businesses. This company made what should've been a joyful day incredibly STRESSFUL. I will NEVER use them again and urge others to think twice if you want your child's party to go smoothly.
