I had no idea about stores like this until a friend mentioned them as a great place for inexpensive wrapping supplies. Who knew? Anyway, wanted some fun, tongue-in-cheek table decorations for a friend and found exactly what was needed at this place for a price that was remarkably low. There is so much STUFF in this store that it would take hours to browse the way I'd like. I actually did that a little bit (Mr. Picky kept asking, "Can I go sit in the car and wait?") and have some ideas for the future. read more

Party City in Lancaster California did an AMAZING job servicing my request for a balloon delivery at the last minute, same day, just a few hours later. My son moved to California last week from Indiana to start a new job, his first job out of college. It's a big deal as it's something he's dreamed of his whole life. When I called the store, Angelica was SO HELPFUL to let me know that I had to place the order on-line and "if I had any questions or concerns, to call her back." I placed the order and I did call back because the on-line process wouldn't allow me to schedule my delivery for same day. When I called her, she was attentive, listened carefully and then put her manager, Vanessa on the phone. Vanessa was equally as attentive, listened well and highly responsive. She pulled my order up and then between she and Angelica and Raelyn, they all made sure that my son's balloon order was pulled together, inflated, and delivered all within a few hours of my initial phone call. He received it upon his return home after his very first day of his job and he was so grateful. THANK YOU to Angelica, Vanessa and Raelyn, for restoring my faith in goodness and GREAT Customer Service! You made a Momma across the country and her son very happy on this day, July 10, 2023. Came in to return a couple of items that I had purchased online, both which were unused, in original packaging and within the 30 day return window. The employee told me he would have to check and make sure they are still accepting returns on Mardi Gras items since they were clearing out the inventory. After checking with another employee, he informed me they could. What he failed to tell me is that I would only get a quarter of what I paid back. Apparently they can only refund the clearance price, which I understand, but it would have been nice to know this upfront. Accepting returns while keeping most of the money is just shady business. Had I been aware that I was going to get such a small fraction of my money back, I would have chosen to keep the items. It wasn't even worth my time to drive there for $5. read more

Employees are rude, they walk around with an attitude, never smile, and then they stare at children like their an abomination.... I walked in here and purchased 3 little packets of sour patch kids, then ended up buying another 4, and since the very rude woman behind the counter (her name is Sara) was on her month, she accused me of trying to steal 20 cents because she somehow forgot I bought the first ones a minute ago.... Like really? I just walked past 20 cents outside... LoL, why do they work here if they act so miserable? There are 4 employees here, and no customers besides me, my wife, and another lady with 3 children... While my wife talk to the woman trying to make a sale, there standing behind the counter talking smack about the little varmints laughing and playing around... Horrible customer service! People already talk bad about the AV and the people here only prove them right. I bought balloon bouquet for my nieces first birthday. Rudy ties the latex balloons separate from the large foil balloon.... why? He double knots the string and just looks so trash. I could have done better. I asked for a pair a scissors to at least curl the long ribbon he left. So there I am with scissors in hand at the register curling the ribbon trying to make my $20 balloons look nice. Sad, sad experience. I walked in and up to the helium counter. There were about three girls standing there. One appeared to be the manager. Not absolutely sure but she was standing right there in front of me. She was on her phone texting. It was clear that I was the only one at the counter for a few minutes. One of the girls says to Keshya or however you spell her name, " I think she wants to get balloons." She ignores them and me as well. Continues texting. Then another lady walks up behind me and she waits on her instead, knowing I was standing there first. Pathetic. read more

What a disappointment. We bought a pinata from there, $24.99. The hanger broke off before the kids even got to hit it once. We tried to modify it so at least the kids could try to hit it, but it totally fell apart...10 very unhappy kids. Did I mention it was $24.99???
