When the situation became clear it was not going to be resolved even with photograph evidence not receiving food/drinks and the proof of payment we let it go. When you hear the name Courville you know you're guaranteed good eats and impeccable service…read more Yesterday I visited their restaurant/catering/and entertainment venue located on Hwy 90 a short drive just pass Major drive. When I entered I saw that their tables were set up with red & white table coverings ready for the lunch crowd. I was greeted immediately with smiling faces and I even received a hug from Ms. Chelle. On Wednesday's Courville offers a hot meal and a cold one called Love Lunches. The name definitely fits because you get a taste of TLC in each bite. You are welcome to come in and eat inside or take it with you. I ordered for hubby and myself, two Cobb salads to go. These salads really hit the spot during these hot summer months. The first thing that caught my eye was the beauty of the presentation. It was lovely to look at and even better to eat. This salad radiates with the vibrancy of spring, with an array of beautiful, bright colors. This dish of deliciousness starts with a mountain of fresh spring mix lettuce, followed by plump grape tomatoes, sliced cucumbers, egg, avocado, bacon bits, shredded cheese, purple onions, with slices of the best and well seasoned chicken breast resting on top. Each bite provided a forkful of comfort and flavor. It's a show of veggies brimming with freshness and flavor. You will eat it for the taste and love it for the nutrition. . Check out Courville's Love Lunches every Wednesday from 11:00-2:00. You can check out their menu on their FB page or on Best Bites. Tell them Best Bitea sent you. # supporting locals #BestBites

The only complaints that I have are the event seems to drag out a little longer than most music bingos and DMC needs to stop passing around the tip jar, imo. Leave the tip jar at the front and remind us that it is there and we will gladly tip you. After all, you deserve the tip. Another thing is if you do go out with your family be advised that this event is not family friendly. Some friends of mine brought their ten-year-old and they were a little shocked at the dance-offs! Entertaining and fun! Yes! Family friendly, not so much. Anyway, I have been three times with family and friends and will continue to go for a fun night out!

First of all, it was located in a quiet area, so we felt safe. The staff was very friendly and everything was very clean. I was quite happy with the overall value - for an economical hotel, the room was spacious and the cable channels generous. Free WiFi and our room had a microwave & fridge, too. It was too cold to try the pool and outdoor jacuzzi, but the free continental breakfast was nice. My wife especially liked their waffle-making machine. BTW, the Big Thicket Visitor's Center and Kirby Nature Trail are just a few miles to the north, and definitely worth checking out.

Elevator stinks, rooms are out dated compared to other Super 8 hotels I've stayed at. We check room for bed bugs, didnt see any. I did find a dead wasp on my bed and a spider. Took for ever for water to get warm in shower. The shower head in room 225 needs to be repaired. Kids running up and down the hallway. Outside the entrance there are multiple wasps nests, be cautious. I will say the A/C does blow cold. But that's it. The cold A/C earned a star. My crew will not be staying here when we come in town for work. Beds are also very un comfortable. Have a good day.
