I said it in my quick tip and I'll say it again here--I can no longer walk in here without thinking of RuPaul's Drag Race. Although on RDR they use "go back to Party City" as an insult and I have to highly disagree with that assessment. Because Party City is the 'ish. It helps me serve up some theme party realness. Having the job that I have I come to Party City, and this particular location, on the regular. They have a great selection of paper goods (plates, cups, table cloths, etc), as well as decorations, prizes, balloons, costume pieces, etc etc. I can usually find what I'm looking for or, at the very least, am inspired to do something else just by walking around the aisles. A lot of the time I bring a list with me and end up going off it and just picking up what seems to fit my theme/mood/vision. LOVE! They have a stellar collection of balloons (who doesn't want a 3 foot hello kitty for their birthday?!) and rent out tanks which has made my party throwing life pretty easy. Also, big ups to their balloon ties that are pre-ribboned. J'adore! Yes, I love me some Party City. I'll gladly go back there, Phi Phi O'Hara. No shade.

Good store for themed party decorations and dinnerware. The plastic utensils and cups are not cheap either. It's been a while since I've hosted a party and I stopped in to buy food serving utensils and dinnerware. The selection was limited and the prices were expensive. I remember years ago this store being the happening place for all your party needs. It now is full of mediocre goods that consumers don't necessarily need. Chain grocery stores sell a lot of party planning stuff too but not for a wide variety of themes. The staff was not helpful when I asked the question "if they sold plastic ice trays" a manager (blonde hair) walked away while rudely telling me she did not sell them here.

It was a bit hard to find. The place it was showing on the map was sort of the opposite place it ended up being. It showed that it was around Ikea and Black Rock, but instead it was on the other side of the expressway in an unmarked building with limited signage. But finally we did arrive. Not all of the displays were working yet or filled, but as stated, it is a bit early into the season. It was a decent size store filled with a lot of the full seasonal merch. I am sure we will be back to make some final decisions when it gets closer to Halloween, but for now we were just window shopping. My child almost bought a mug, but wanted to wait and see if a greater selection was available before committing her hard earned money. Fun place. Quite a few customers were also eager to shop around early.

I was in search of a 1920's headdress and gloves. The store had ample parking and was clean, but it did seem rather small inside. Things were not super clearly organized and it took me a little time to find what I was looking for. The selection was ok but not great. There were a lot of scary costumes and accessories if that's what you're looking for. Needing a few items for my kids, I found the child costume section, which was definitely anemic. I would recommend buying kids things elsewhere. Other than a handful of branded costumes, and many candy buckets, there wasn't much else. They were well staffed, though, with nice associates and once I found what I needed, I was in and out rather quickly.

Their…read morecancellation policy is 72 hours once the contract is signed and they seemingly intentionally do not respond in a timely manner within the cancellation window. Once outside of the cancellation window they were more responsive, however rude and unwilling to flex on their policy even after citing reasons why I was uncomfortable moving forward with their hair services, and willingness to work with them before deciding to cancel (the result was not what I wanted and I communicated this within 24 hours to them). I was dissatisfied with the hair trial for my wedding, which was voiced during the trial and dismissed, and now I am stuck with a non-refundable deposit because of their poor communication practices. I politely requested the difference of the deposit and trial services refunded to me, and was met with extreme defensiveness. I felt extremely undervalued as a customer, and their apology simply did not feel genuine or with any desire to make it right. Be careful when referencing their "not normal business hours" approach, because they will use this to say that just about any time that you contact them does not fall within that time frame. This is the main concern, I had high hopes and excitement for their services based on previous reviews, and was incredibly disappointed with the way they do business. They are very shady with contracts, and seems they will skew their words to ensure they are not violating their own contract. See the other one star reviews, it was a similar experience. Aside from that, Kaity who did my makeup was absolutely incredible. I started with wanting "natural but amp-ed up" and then realized I liked a lot more glam. She listened and provided advice, gave me exactly like my inspiration, and the makeup lasted all day - even after a gym workout. If you are confident in your services and need no changes, this make-up is worth it.

Fine. I provide info including ccv on back of card. I show up and they argue with me about they 10 balloons sitting there not being mine because the order sheet is not attached. Then I see my order sheet sitting on the counter with my full name, phone number and my full credit card info showing. I ask about why it's all in plain site and the clerk tells me it's policy and they then file the information. So they keep it!!! Disgusting. Then, I pay for my stuff and to add insult to injury they charged me for an extra balloon bag. Ya, it's only 25 cents but at this point I'm wondering if they care about any details. Went back in to complain and they all just stared at each other no clue what to do. Did nothing to set things right. Just horrible service. I will never return. Disgusted.
