The selection is diverse--ranging from classic tin toys to rare action figures and timeless board games. Every inch holds something different, and it's clear that the owner has a real passion for curating these treasures for a great price. I would not recommend bringing little ones here as it packed full & could easily be a hazard waiting to happen with little hands lol. Not only has the owner brought in locally made pieces (think hand knit sweaters and smocked dresses), but she also carries fabulous children's designers I hadn't seen anywhere else. Beth (the owner) kindly indulged me in my grandmother fantasy, and happily introduced me to some of the great books and games she carries, too. I left with a "Letters to my Grandchild" book - the first of many purchases to come, I'm sure.

While this one is one floor, it is still a worthy member of the clan. I tried to go for just one or two items, but ended up with a slew of pens and pencils. My only regret was the fact that my carry on was the limit, not the items in the store. The staff were a great balance of attentive and laissez-faire. I like being able to enjoy looking at things and touching things without feeling weird or feeling as though sales folks are going to vulture me. I felt welcomed and a part of the store, but not smothered. Also the staff was friendly with each other but did not ignore a single customer in their reach. I liked that balance.

They have a decent amount of parking that's shared with several of the building's tenants, and the shop has two entrances. Retro toys are the shops primary specialty and they are located everywhere, but have good organization. Higher value items are located behind glass and the staff are helpful if you want to view something. Comics are in well-organized long boxes with most being older books, and they have a wall book selection. They don't carry new pull comics. Some value long boxes were available. They also carry a selection of video games and trading cards. Toy & Comic Heaven is arguably underrated for the organization and value in its selection. It's absolutely worth visiting.

I was killing some time and only bought a comic book oversized sleeve with a backing to protect the first appearance of Shadow Moon Premiere issue 23. I recommend you stop in as they have everything from Alf put together figures to very nice pieces of art work detailing comic book icons. I've seen them help moms search for something for their kids as intently as regulars looking for a new book to try.
