Quick review: Ryan is my new go to mechanic and will be bringing my car here from now on. Honest,…read morequick, fair prices for parts and labor, and professional. In-depth review: Everyone has heard the horror stories where they paid to much for a questionable repair with cheap parts. Luckily my experience with Dempsey's auto repair is not one of those stories. My girlfriend's Jeep Wrangler had developed a pretty severe death wobble that made it unsafe to drive at highway speeds. Sadly a pretty typical jeep issue, but I knew it was going to be big job so finding a good mechanic was key. We brought her car in and met Ryan the owner of the shop. I cannot adequately explain about how professional and thorough Ryan was. After Ryan's initial inspection, he brought my girlfriend over while her car was still up on the lift and showed her where the issues were, what parts needed to be replaced, potential future problems, and really spelled everything out. I have some experience working on cars but seeing Ryan break everything down to terms that anyone could understand I already knew we came to the right place. When it comes to prices I have zero complaints. No crazy mark ups on parts and all of them were quality parts. He printed us an estimate with the price per part and estimated labor and all the parts we priced right around the same if you were to go out and buy them yourself (believe me I tried). The actual repairs were done quick and we were back on the road the same day we brought it in. Within minutes of driving the car the ride quality had significantly improved and the death wobble is gone. If you really read all this stop, call the shop already, and make an appointment. I will not take my car anywhere else (Including any failed project car).

Hello everyone:…read more My car was in an accident and the insurance company is AAA insurance. They gave me a list of their providers and said that it was a lifetime guarantee on the repairs, so I went with their recommendation list. Bryn Mawr Auto Body was impressive until they told me my car was done and ready to come home. Only to find out that a battery was needed. In other words, my car was not really ready, and I had no battery problems until Bryn Mawr Auto Body so called fixed my car. I feel like not only are they getting paid from AAA but also want to try their best to get paid from a victim of a car accident. If my car was ready and there was a battery problem, why was I not notified at the "your car is ready point"?

While he sometimes trains younger guys within his shop, he holds them to the same high standards to which he holds himself, which says a lot. He told me, on the spot, what he thought it was, then confirmed it the next day once he managed to get the car up on his lift. Blue Ribbon is really good at communicating what they're doing, any concerns they have, and time/cost estimates; turns out, my car was fixed within a couple of days, and I drove it out of their lot with confidence the job was done right!
